I know I should just leave this one, but isn't it possible that the two theories are compatible? Maybe God created the begining with a plan and then it proceeded from there? Maybe God set the stage for the creation of the original humans. Some of the greatest minds in the world - like Steven Hawkings - are believers in this because they say you can't get something from nothing. Hence there must be an original and miraculous creator - Allah!!! Just food for thought - although I can hear the vociferous responses already. |

Evolution as it is now taught in schools does not acknowledge a creator being involved in any part of the process. Even those who teach it admit that there are alot of inconsistencies in the theory.
Everything that we need to know about the universe and its beginnings is in the quran and any science that is not consistant with those teachings should not be taught to our kids. |
