There is no doubt that Somalia needs peace, security and a government but should those who are invited to the Djibouti conference continue to confuse the people on by interpreting this need of peace to mean people suppport the Djibouti conference? It is time those individuals realised that people can not be taken on a ride just because we are needy. For any peace process to succeed it must have strong merits to do so not because "we need a government i.e. we are desparate and we will eat any kind of government however it is formed".

Up to now the proponents of the Djibouti government have failed to show any strong case why it should be supported except that we are "desparate".

The question is are we that desparate to accept any evil no matter how bad it is?

Abdi, you don't need an inivitation to go and participate in Djibouti confernece. All you need is to take the initaitive and express a keen interest in the issues at hand. Go there and do something, after-all your tribe is presenting your interest. Aren't we all sooooooooo tribalistic in our views and social interactions.
Remember the majority of somali men will die for their tribe, but not for an idea.

So, if you want your views taken into account contact your Capo Qabiil.
