     | Friday, August 04, 2000 - 07:39 pm Dear Somalis: The idea of establishing e-commerce was spinning in my small head for now quite sometime. Yet the possibility of I would be get doomed, like many web based-startup businesses do, was holding me to get going. And one more thing that was making my matter worse was my business would mostly depend on Somalis whom, I doubt many of them neither use credit cards nor trust the WWW business. Thus, I decided to post little questionnaire where I will ask you only 4 questions and you will answer yes or no. Based on your answers, I can make small research, which will be helpful for my startup business. I know some of you folks think it is a big joke, but please let’s be serious this time. However if you have any comments, critiques or questions, you can ask/write after you wrote your answers. And hey of course one question that I won’t be answering is when one slack asks me “Hey OldSchool what is the nature of your business?.” ;). I do really appreciate you help. Thanks Yours truly, OldSchool. Questionnaire ============================================ 1-Do you have credit card? (Visa, MasterCard, American express, or Discovery). 2-Does your bank card (debit card or the one you use for the ATM) have visa or MasterCard logo? If yes, do you know you can use it as credit card as long as you have the money in your account? 3-Did you ever buy something online (Internet)? 4-If you see Somali business on the web, is it possible that can buy something from that web?. ==========================================

| | Friday, August 04, 2000 - 11:32 pm Okey old slack; 1- I had three credit cards that I never used and eventually cancelled them all. 2- I do have a checking card which can be used as credit card if I have the money in the account although money never materializes in it. 3- I never did. 4- Let me put it this way old slack; May be books or something like that. I would prefer writing down the address and mailing it instead of using my card. And I did that several times at icna website. It is my turn and the sexist Question: What is your gender?.

To my knowledge, NO business advertisement is allowed on these boards. Why don't you do a survey or pay some agencies to do it for you. Here's my advice to you: pay somalinet some money and ask them to run a questionnaire on behalf of you, then use that info to see if your planned business is profitable or not. You can run a sweepstake where the winners get some prize. this would give you more honest answers. Back to your questionnaire: All yes. cybercop
