Dear Osman + Amina:

Amina:

Again u might not understand my views because of limited capacity. But because of what may be your shortcomings its unfair to personally attack me. An insane person is one who lacks substance and logic, my writing contains both. Ingenuity is the inherent ability to think multidimensional and to look at issue under different light; that is what i do. U folks lack substance, ingenuity, and wisdom precisely because u lack understanding. Hence, u resort to name calling and profanities. Its this lack of understanding, coupled with violent and undeserved arrogance that causes u to continually react with predictable outburst of violent words typical of insecure beings. Ur like one who tries to block the sunlight from reaching people so that their true face does not become obvious but sadly succeeding only to keep oneself in darkness. My advice to you folks is to understand that any legitimate arguments that u might have is being overshadowed by your lack of civility because it manifests a deeper truth about u.

Finally, u have taken the qoute out of its context
if u want to really grasp my message, I suggest u go back to post and read it in context. Why I said these words will become obvious because the note is self explanatory. BTW, What I advocate for the Mareexan and Majeerteen I advocate for any clan with corrupt elite who abuse and manipulate the trust of the Somali people. In addition, such collective reprimand of groups who tolerate and rally around such predators is healthy for them
in the end, for it will weaken the bad elements and strengthened the good elements within each clan. Only right handed leadership and elite can shake the right hand of other somalis. Anyways read the article carefully if your interest is genuine and fair minded. Otherwise, dont waste your time and mine others with ignorant and uncivil commentary and unwarranted insults.

Osman:

Our only enemy is Ibleys and those who are his servants in oppression and deception. There are Ethiopians who are closer in spirit to me than some of my sub-sub clan and therefore such ethiopians are truer brothers to me. We must break this yoke of clannism, nationalism and racism. We are not to become subservient to any such institutions when they force us to harbor illegitimate beings who weigh us down. In otherwords, we should be only subservient to what increases us in sanctity and shun that which pollutes. We should seek unity and corporation with Good hearts among the sons of adam. When we establish a nation it should never be for selfish self-interest, national or otherwise(this is a formula for self-destruction), Instead it should be a tool by which we can collect our efforts to advance good and noble nature of man, while at the same time serving for a collective defense against evil this is the nature of true Islam. So long as all institutions are subservient to us in our efforts and not vice versa than no foe foreign or domestic can derail us from success and prosperity. However, its like sugar coating a rotten apple to cover the shallow ideals that has marked our efforts as a nation with nationalist sentiment. It will make us sicker upon digesting although it may well have been sweet and enjoyable to consume.

Finally, any substance is constituted by elements which give its properties. Gold plaiting any metal does not make it pure gold allthough u might be fooled by its golden coat. Like wise a nation
is as healthy as its constituting members. The somali nation is a blessed nation that could lead mankind to the correct light, but it must change its constitution. We must collectively stand against those who corrupt the somali psyche. The greatest damage to us is done by those we think are closest kin. For example, the former british colony was marked for its stubbornness to change despite great efforts. The elders of berbera were so paranoidly protective of their somaliness they incorporated into the treaty strict precautions against infiltration into their society, including a clause that prohibited any british woman from given birth on somali soil. The somalilanders remained stubborn to change but were truely admired by even their colonizers for the characteristics that was common to somalis through the ages that is inherent nobility, faithfullness to Islam , conservatism, independence, endurance. Equally their intelligence, wisdom and bravery aroused certain measure of envy and apprehension among some and among the treacherous it led them to conspiring. Now, generations later the similarly situated elders in joining hands with somalis of somalia (Italian colony) took no precautions believing these to be at the core their brethren as they were on the apparent (physical, culture, language and religion). In the thirty years of Afweyne's rule the corruption of the north psyche was accomplished in ways no foreign force could ever imagine doing in thousands of years. I have visited Somaliland and i have seen the treacherous child that the marriage with the south has produced. So my point is its easier to defend against a foreign enemy an enemy apparent but its the unseen hand and the betrayal of the trusted who knows your vulnerabilities that can do the greatest damage.

If the individual somali psyche is healthy, than the family unit, clan, and nation will be healthy. Our collective concious is only the sum of the individual states of mind. Its therefore, a prerequisite for success as a nation that we are individually protecting our collective psyche and further struggling to purify it further. To do this we must be able to penetrate beyond the cover and gold plaits to recognize evil and shun it while equally possessing the proficiency to harness the good by understanding the fundamental or the deep truths in events and commanding according to it, otherwise as the sons of adam we are doomed to continue our down word slide chasing temporary illusions of success that only in reality make him fall deeper in to the abyss.

In a nutshell, ourselves and our houses need cleaning so we can constitute a healthy nation. Our domestic enemies may not perform actions with the specific intent of destroying somalis but because of their myopic vision they unknowingly provide a window for ibleys to enter our society, he then employs them as his instrument to do damage in ways he could not ever do from the outside. That is I believe the take home message from our recent sad history. I think the best solution is to eliminate the agents of evil among us and close the window that makes us so vulnerable and miserable as a people despite our potential as a nation blessed with divine wisdom. I believe only somalis with healthy psychee can mount a successful defense against any foreign enemy. Our domestic enemies are like the HIV virus, which makes u vulnerable by illeminating your inherent defense systems(your immune system) to become easily killed by a simple flu and even more so by agents that previously could actually never establish an infection let alone kill you if your immune system was intact.

Let me give u a surah that illustrates in a far better way the points I am struggling to make. Surat al casr:
Bismillaahi Raxmani Raxiim
1.Wal casr
2.Inn al-insaana la fi khusr
3.Illa lladiina aamanu wa camilu as-salixaati, wa tawaasow bil xaqi wa tawaasow bil sabr.

Let me add another pearl from the wisdom of the Qur'an:
[al-Baqarah 2:269] He granteth wisdom to whom He pleaseth; and he to whom wisdom is granted receiveth indeed a benefit overflowing; but none will grasp the Message but men of understanding.
