Hassan | Saturday, September 09, 2000 - 08:00 pm Hi there, all Tonite, I read many of your messages & discussions. I felt such a happiness that you might not be that old to relate to. What I mean is this: I visited several Somali sites/forumss such as hiiraan.com, Puntland.com & many others. Those ppl. talk about garbage stuff. But, you Somali children who debate on this forums discuss intellegently about Somali problems and their solutions. You're the only hope, if there's one, for Somalia. Continue your health & civilized discussions, and maybe, just maybe the reach of hope is not that far off for our beloved Somalia. I salute you, boys/girls of Somali origin who display such a maturity and love for their country at such early ages and hope that you remain as such in your life time. Most of the old Somali generation are contaminated with this thing we call tribalism. It's a hollow ghostlike thing that I hope you never identify with. This is a Somali man, who by the Almighty ALLAH, saved him from that terrible thing, they call tribalism. I was exposed to it ( I grew up in Somalia), but never got thru. me that much. Thanks to Allah. I left Somalia 17 yrs. ago I didn't see it since. I've been living in North America all these yrs. I identify with your ideas & decency than the country I left behind. Looking forward reading your interesting & intellegent discussions. Until next time, Hassan |
