How can you quote George stephenopolis?Just because he has a great set of hair doesn't mean he tells the truth.Or just because he was Clinton's Campaigne advisor and he was upclose and personal with the president,means he tells the truth?He is not a reliable source,based on his ultimate betrayal of the President.How can you hold accountable for his quotes if he is capable of treaturely?George is trying to sell a book,its no secret.Bring another witness,xoogsade,we find George inadmisseble on basis of character.Even ABC news network who is current Employer of this scumbag,sleep with one eye open when this jerk is around. |

Believe me, this wasn't the guidance we were working under. This was MACs solution to the problem. Haber Gedir wast to launch a mortar attack on us, fine. We'll target every SNA leaders house in Hamer, kill 'em all. Target the Cache locations and destroy them with gunships. When SNA supporters throw stones shoot them. It wouldn't have taken long before they handed us Aideeds head on a platter. The gloves should have come off. The SNA started the war and we should have finished it. I maintain that we ran out on the people who supported us (the Abgal, The Murosade, the Hawadle, the Rahanweyne, etc. etc. etc. The SNA had (and contuned to have) a relatively narrow base of support. Aideed undermined the peace process because he wasn't willing to compromise. Had we kicked the SNAs ass right after 5 June with all available firepower, remorselesly attacking the SNA everywhere we found the, I remain convinced the level of bloodshed would have been lower than it ultimately was and the overall result would have been more positive. |
