Salaams to all of you

I hope Insha Allah I will not offend anybody

I would like to suggest we should discuss for a moment this aspect of Islam

I know I am not good at speaking but Insha allah will try my best and hope others who have knowledge would contribute to it

We the majority of the Somalis are inherited this great religion of Islam but it is sad that when somebody visits at this wabepage there is no reflection that we are Moslims

Allah SWT created us with such great brain that diffreniates us from the other creatures and in addition we us Moslims should be the most benefecial ones of it is use

So, it is very disappointing to hear or read some of the masseges you posted

yes, we all need a bit of a funn but this is not the way may be some of us think because we are behind the screen so no matter what we say

but it does matter really may be toomorrow you will become a father or a mother how would you be able to be a good parent etc

I know I did not say what I want say clearly but with the help of Allah I hope you will

Remember today we are he/she but tommorow the dead one

Wasalam

Salaams to all

I tried to found one of the best statement by Omar bin Abu khidab ra

I like it so much and hope Insha Alah you will

'' I looked at all thr friends and did not find a better friend than safeguarding the tongue. I thought about all the dresses but did not find a better dress than piety. I thought about all sorts of wealth than contentment in little. I thought of all sorts of good but did not find a better deed than offering good advice. I looked at all types of sustenance but did not find a better sustenance than petience''

I know some of you will find this very boring topic but Insha Allah if you try to bring any discussions I am sure we will soon benefit from it

I find quite distressing when many educated Somalis disregard their Deen ( sure I am not the perfect one)

Ones I read a note taken by a Somali students I think in the USA the lecture was given by a Somali profesor ( I must not say his name cuz my aim is not to backbite him but give what I think we should be) I found it quite unislamic

and asked myself it is good he had a good education but at the sametime thought he should understand the diff bet western education & Islamic value

Insha Allah you will read this and benefit from it
