ikraam | Friday, January 26, 2001 - 02:24 pm Hi ppl, I live in Minnesota, and as most of you know..it can get down right cold here. And being in the west you know we girls got a torch lighted under our ass and are constantly running around from one place to the next trying to keep up with the rest of the world.Anyhow, the winter weather is wrecking havoc on my skin...I can't just wash my face with soap and water and bust out of the house as usual because now my skin turns a yellowy disgusting lifeless grey, not to mention my nose gets really dry and flaky as well as my cheek bones while someparts of my nose just shines like I just emptied a gallon of oil on it. So my dear somali sisters, I was wandering if any of you have any suggestions???home remedies???..cause I really hate putting any chemically made beauty product on my face, and since I don't wear makeup (and certainly don't want to start)i really need to fix this. So pls..someone help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ikraam p.s....it's times like this that I really miss our warm sometimes humid somalia..at least it knew how to treat a girl's skin!!!!!!! thanxxxxxxxxxxx |

Zahra | Saturday, January 27, 2001 - 09:13 am Ikraam, I think maybe you should make an appointment with a dermatologist, one of my friends had the same problem and the doctor prescribed a specific lotion for her that helps with her skin problem. Good luck sis. |
