please try to follow this story. it is a fact and i still think about it.
i was in MALL OF AMERICA in mminneapolis once and it was RAMADAN. i saw this beautiful sister necking with this ugly black guy( AN AFRICAN AMERICAN GUY) she was on his lap and they were making out. i was with my cousin. she noticed we were looking her and she stopped it, then the guy looked at us and he threw her out of his lap. ghe was mad and she ran after him. we thought what that all could be about.
then at the EID PRAYERS, i saw the same girl with her family ( parents and siblings ). this also amazed me. i thoought about it. i thought the girl is leading double life. then i went to one the many somali community offices and i saw the same girl, she was dressed like a hoochie and every one was looking her down. i asked some guy if he knew this girl since he was talking to her. he said he did and that she is his relative. i asked him if he agrees the way she dresses and he id hell no but what could i do. i told him i saw her with a nigga in the mal and he was like yeah we know. that is her. he told me that she is was engaged to one of his caousins back in KENYA and she is only here about 2 years. he told me she is the oldest in her family and her parents don't have any idea what she does and they think she works and goes to schol while she parties and goes with niggas. i again met this girl in a somali wedding. this time she was dressed in a very respectful manner, so i approached her and said hi..the girl looked at me up and down and she laughed. i said hi, wassup? she said hi back.
i told her don't get me wrong ..am not here to pick u up or anything like that.then she laughed at me saying yeah , whatever and she walked away from me. i didn't give up becouse my intention was to befreind her and maybe influence her and give her some advice. finally i met this other girl and we clicked and i asked about her and she told me yeah she knows and that her man is about to come soon to the states and she is also seeing this black guy.
there is nothing i could have done after that. the girl was really fucked up somehow.
i felt sorry for the bro and am sure they won't be marrying since every one seemed to know her story.
that girl is beautiful and somali. she is new to this country. i have been here for about 10 years with my family. my sisters whoare also at her age don't even go to the movies and they are all in school and very religious. i am sure that girls parents are also decent people and very religious and traditional. but here is my question...what went wrong here? how can a gril who goes to the masjid and who has been brought up with islamic values and morals could be doing this? she is also engaged and is supposed to marry this poor somali guy?
