I am a research student from the School of Oriental and African Studies, London University. I am researching the development and implimental of health policy for ethnic groups.
My main interest is to try and understand how members of ethnic groups feel the health care they recieve is relevent for them, what are the good points and bad points. I would very much like to hear your opinions on these subjects. Any comments you have would of interest but let me start with a question 'Do you feel medical staff have bad ideas about Somalis or are they understanding of the needs of Somali poeple?'

I would like to contrbute with some information to your research, but I need to know exactly what are you looking for. you have to be more clear,also what do you mean needs of somali people, do you mean those in hospitals( in care ) or those who uses communnity services.
