Tuesday, March 06, 2001 - 05:51 am hey guys..how are ya...i need advise...i'm a high school senior and last semester i saw this pretty girl who i thought was realy special...it all started back in sebtember of 2000 just after 2 or 3 days of school and i was shopping for new basketball shoes and one sunday afternoon i was at the mall tryin' to figure out what to buy...at the cash register i noticed someone waving at me from across the store and i reconized her but i was realy surprise that she was saying 'hi' to me...i found out she worked there...i started to have very strong feelings about this girl but i didn't talk to her becuase i thought she was too good for me or somethin'....she's very popular at school...she is the captain of the girls varsity basketball team.....so anyways like i was saying....one day in my 4th block class as i was givin' presentation to the class she asked if i had a girlfriend and i said no....she asked if i wanted a girlfriend and to my stupidity i said somethin' that i'll always regret....don't laugh guys...i said ' it doesn't matter'....hey you can't blame me for that becuase i was nervouse and like 40 people were staring at me and stuff....so anyways now i have feelings for her...i see her in the hallways and all but that was the last day she talked to me....so i was just wondering if i should talk to her or not....time is running out and graduation is in 4 months....i would love to take her to the prom but i'm thinking she would never give me a chance....after all...she's light skinned mixed african-american who is probably getting a full scholarship to a major college.....and for me?...i'm thinking about attending a flight school out in arizona to become a pilot...so guys...i'm realy sorry if i wrote too much but i didn'y know who else to turn to besides my somali brothers and sisters....help me out guys....peace and love.... Tuesday, March 06, 2001 - 11:36 am Ohhh its so sad to hear your story, Well Shaggy at least you know what you want in life or at least you love some one out there. Most of us don't even have that some one too look or stare when they are around us, it seems to me that you realy like this girl alot and the only thing I can say to you is time is running out just like you said in your post, you need tell her how you feel and who knows she might agree with you and feel the same away about you. Life is short and there is only very little time, take the chance while its still there for you, You know you want her so what are you waiting for go get her. Go for it, and good luck my bro.
