Praise be to Allaah.

It is not permissible to stay with a husband who is like this, because by neglecting the salaah (prayer) he is a kaafir, and it is not permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a kaafir or stay with him. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“… if you ascertain that they [women] are true believers, send them not back to the disbelievers, they are not lawful (wives) for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful (husbands) for them…” [al-Mumtahinah 60:10]

The marriage between you and him is null and void, and there can be no nikaah (marriage) between you unless Allaah guides him and he repents to Allaah and comes back to Islam. In that case the marriage will remain valid. The husband’s conduct is not correct, and it seems to me that he is suffering from some kind of (mental) illness, namely paranoia and waswaas (insinuating whispers of the Shaytaan) from which some people suffer with regard to their worship and their dealings with others. Nothing will get rid of this sickness but remembering Allaah (dhikr), seeking refuge in Him and putting one’s trust in Him to get rid of it. What matters is that for your part, you have to leave him and not stay with him, because he is a kaafir and you are a believer. With regard to your husband, we advise him to come back to his religion and to seek refuge with Allaah from the accursed Shaytaan, and to try to recite some beneficial du’aa’s with which to rid his heart of this waswaas. We ask Allaah to help him. And Allaah knows best.

From the Fataawa of Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen, in al-Da’wah magazine, no. 1709, p. 34 That's about 80-percent of somalian men.

Blackrap, you need to stop lying to the people and more importantly stop breaking up the families. First get your facts straight okay, I think what you heard is if the man does not believe the prayer he can't marry a Muslim woman, and if they are already marry he can't stay marry to her. If the man believes the prayer even though he's not praying, then it's totally different case, he can marry a Muslim woman and he can stay marry to her. If you need more details about what I just said, just ask me and I will be happy to reply, I have prove too in the(Kitaab)

You know it's wrong to preach people about something you don't know anything about it.

SIS!
SCHOLARS HAVE BEEN DEBATING WETHER TO CALL SOMEBODY A "KAFIR" B/C HE OR SHE DOES NOT PRAY. SOME ARGUE THAT IF U DO NOT PRAY U R A KAFIR, WHILE OTHERS ARGUED OTHERWISE. THEY ASKED QUESTION LIKE "WHAT SHOUL A KAFIR DO BEFORE HE EMBRACES ISLAM"? THE ANSWER IS U HAVE TO ACCEPT ISLAM THE PROPPER WAY WITH WITNESSES AND THE WHOLE NINE YARD. HOWEVER, THEY CLAIMED, IF A PERSON LEAVES SALAT FOR CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME, WHAT IS HE TO DO IF HE WANTS TO PRAY AGAING? SHOULD HE/SHE ACCEPT ISLAM OR SHOULD HE OR SHE JUST GO AND PRAY? AND THE ANSWER IS TO MY KNOWLEDGE IS THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO EMBRACE BUT INSTEAD JUST STAR PRAYING. THOUGH I'M NOT VERY KNOWLEDGABLE IN THE DEEN, WHAT I'M BASICALLY TRAYING TO SAY IS, TO CALL SOMEONE A KAFIR MEANS HE OR SHE IS NOT BELIEVER OF ALLAH(SW)AND THE PROPTHET(PUH). BY THE WAY I'M NOT MAKING ANY EXCUSES FOR SOMEONE NOT TO PRAY. HOWEVER, I STRONGLY URGE U TO BE CAREFULL ON CALLING SOMEBODY A KAFIR.

SHOULD A WOMAN LEAVE HER HUSBAND IF HE DOESN'T PRAY?
I DON'T THINK ONE SHOULD HURRY TO DIVORCE. DIVORCE IS AN UGLY THING. SHE COULD TELL HIM TO PRAY IN A POSITIVE MANNER WITHOUT CTITIZISM. ANY MUSLIM PERSON SHOULD BE WILLING TO EDUCATE THE DEEN TO HIS/HER BROTHERS AND SISTERS.

P.S.
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CORRECT ANY MISTAKE OR FALSE COMMENTARY THAT I MADE ABOVE. BY THE WAY I COULDN'T QUAOTE FROM THAT I DEBATE I USED AS REFERANSE B/C I HEARD IT SOME TIME AGO.
