in these days of changing ways or so called liberated days a story comes to mind a friend of mine.

khadar was a regular faarax I guess nothing more or nothing less the kindest guy I ever knew

his mothers tears fell in vain one afternoon when khadar tried to explain that he needed love like all of the rest and this girl he is in love with is from a different tribe.his mother and father both said there is must be a mistake how can our son could do this after all we have said and done for him.

khader then went to his loves house and spoke with her father and mother hoping they would understand the love he has for their precious daughter.they also after finding out that kahadr was from a rival tribe they showed him the way out.he then feeling powerless walked away.khadar demanded she do something she then said I wont disobey my parents orders and spoke of a big wedding like every typical somali girl but all what khadar could afford was his big heart.khadar begged they run together move to a different city and start a new life based on love she cold heartily refused .

leaving her disappointed khadar didnt know what to do who to turn to he felt cast out by the ones he loved a victim of this qabyaala,qaxuunti and the mood swings of somaliwomen in the west.

khadar went to the local mafrash where he quickly settled down and starting chewing qhad and soon became the toast of the great faarax way accepted by the rest of the faaraxs no qayila'ad was complete without khadar everybody loved khadar.

the last time i saw khadar a live was in the summer of 95 he said he was in love i said i'm pleased

one cold night in rainy london khadar attended another night at a mafrash but he split before he finished his last mijin he had too much on his mind he decided to take the long way home he walked alone for three hour he thought about life love and this materialistic crazy world we live in.

he got home with one aim in his mind to put an end to his miserable life he wrote a note and described his gentle feelings that night then hanged himself.khadars life ended there but i ask who really cares?????

khadar once said to me in a quote he said {never wait or hesitate get in gear before it is too late you may never get another chance }

khadar was a friend of mine

this page is dedicated to khadar who committed suicide in 96 rest in peace my friend.
