I am Sage. I think we might have a problem in getting together with people with same interest.
Maybe opposite attracts. maybe men might want someone who still has traditional ideas, maybe women woke up and started smelling the coffee (strong one that was), so women want a companion, and equal partner.
whatever you want from a person you will get that person. ONLY WITH THE INTENTION OF MARRIAGE.
what do people think of that??
pls any ideas will be welcome and maybe critisicm as long as it is constructive.

That is true nina, but i wasn't actually thinking about through the internet although they can register through here.
I am thinking people who are in the same country. and by the way people lie whether u meet them face to face first time, or whether u meet them in the internet. There are no guarantees hon, just pure luck is all we need and little bit of research.

I think you've a point here. I totally agree with you that we need a Somali Introduction Agency, dedicated for people who live in the Diaspora. But perhapas you can tell us how would you foresee creating such an agency. As you know somali people are very tradional when it comes to "sex" and "love": all our parents talks about is the tradional arranged-marriage with the aim of procreation. It is my view that the reason why there are so many single Somali men and women is because of several reasons (i)clan-barriers which entervene peoples' love-life, (ii) zealous-religous taboos - mainly created by men who do want to control other people's life - that tries to control sexual and love communcation between men and women. Because of these two horrible barriers a lot of Somalis are suffering from sexual frustration and lack of communication and committment between the womenfolk (who I love very much) and men. I am a liberal person in terms of sex-politics, human-sexuality and love. I would be happy to hear from any Somali who would agree with me on these issues.
