Let's me start by saying that the word love comes in many meaning and almost has no formal definition. Even though, it's very meaningful, but most of the time it depends on the subjet, the thing which is being loved and the lover. Someone may say I have a lovely pet but this love may not be applied to the love between wife and husband or mother and son/daughter or you and ALLAH. As usuall, we love our religion and our prophet but the only way we can prove that love is (not to announce to the public or to be show-off) to follow the religion and the guidelines of the prophet. On the other hand, the love that I have for my parents is compeletly different from the love which I have for my kids or my wife. But I know how well I can make that love with my kids or parents work. All you've to do is be a good son/daughter for you parents and take the advises as well as their suggestion and be a good father for your kids and a provider and a listner to their problems so that you have an enjoying moments with your kids. I know what to do when the love of my children or my parents is missing but the one with the partnes is the tought one to discover. Here comes the confusion, I might say "Honey, I love you," or be humble to her and show careness and all this happens before marriage but how could be doing love or making love when you'r actually a married? Don't give wrong, lots of us just ingore love right after the wedding and this is not a personal habit but a cultural custom which has adopted almost millions of years. It's hard to change it or to make it disappear but we can bring our attention to it so people will realize the mistake (if you'r only agreeing w/me). Can be make love throught all aspects of life? Or do we only focus on one thing like.......solving your partner's family problems, having kids or satisfiying each other wheather it is meal time, bed time or may be in crisis? Where do exactly draw the line? Can we say love is showing the committment to your partner in all good deeds and helping each other when in need?
after we agree the true meaning of love then we can discuss where or when is the best time to reveal love. By the way, I think we can only show LOVE inside our homes not outside not before marriage. But I guess you can say I love him/her but the real love comes when both partners are in same boat. I might be incorrect on that but that's my opinion and if you don't like it smash it against the wall. |
