FIST OF ALL ALL SALAAMOO CALAYKOM MY FELLOW SOMALIANS OF ALL TRIBES RACES AND GENDERS ,SECONDLY I WAS READING THE LATEST NEWS A BOUT THE SOMALI PEACE CONFERENCE IN DJIBOUTI AND SOMETHING STRIKED ME -25 OF THE 225 OF THE NEW PAR LAMENT 10% ARE RESERVED FOR SOMALI WOMEN.IT REALLY MADE ME WONDER AND DREAM OF A COUNTRY ON THE RIGHT PATH IM A 100% SOMALI WOMEN EMPOWERMENT SUPPORTER I HOPE YOU ALL ARE FOR OUR BELOVED HOMELAND TO MOVE FORWARD.WE ARE IN THE YEAR 2000 GUYS ITS TIME FOR THE OTHER HALF TO STEP UP AND TAKE CHARGE.

I think women are more tolerant than men in somalia...no doubt about that.and what somalia needs most at the moment is tolerance

Tolerance with out the skills to rule could become a weakness. With all due respect to the somali woman, I think they are not yet ready to assume the mantle of leadership. I may sound a male chauvinist, which I am not but that is the fact of the matter. We need to make sure that who comes on to the top, come on their own and don't end up having a western proped up leaders replacing the factional leadres that we have today.
