Geele | Monday, August 14, 2000 - 02:09 pm A somali parliament formed in Djibouti with more than one fifth of its members not attending the inaugural session. Another episode in the long running and never ending soap opera called " Somalias chaos". I will reserve my comments about the recently concluded Arta conference, but would like to hear what the common man thinks about this latest saga |

Anonymous | Tuesday, August 15, 2000 - 12:30 am Ali you have very low expectation in life...people with your kind of mentality are easily victimised. you better raise your expectation........or???? |
MAD MAC | Tuesday, August 15, 2000 - 04:38 am Well, we could conduct a survey of you average guy, the man in the gutter if you will. Right now they seem to favor the Djibouti arrangement. Let's hope it develops into something and isn't one big circle jerk. I'm curious where this parliament is going to meet. Is Villa Somalia going to be refurbished and handed over by the SNA? Why do I doubt that? Well, maybe this will work out. The somalis deserve a break. |

Geedi | Tuesday, August 15, 2000 - 01:41 pm I am told this is the 13th attempt in the last ten years that our so called leaders have failed to come up with a working solution. That just sucks! I just hope this one works or else be prepared for another decade in the wilderness as the international community will lose whatever interest it has evinced of late |
