i was just wondering of you guys/girls think of me going to the militry. i just
graduated from high school on july. i didn't do good in high school, i berrly
graduated. now iam not going to college or anything, just kicking back at
home, and little part time job. i was called by the recurting officer about 6
times last week. i all ready took some basic english test.
but anyway what you think.
my uncle said no to me couple of times but, i don't know man.
one thing is for sur tough. i can't go to shcool, i hate education.

hey if ur asking for my opinion i would say NO...that is if ur gana listen and if u realy wana go to the militray dont' go to american's why don't u wait untill we go back i mean they tread people bad 4 reals i wouldn't wana let u go if i was one of ur relative any ways ...i think education is good stop hating and take a chance u may like it ..besise it pays off later believe it or not i graduated from high school too in june 14, 2000 but i am not going to college now but i did apply and am starting on spring...so think about it before u make the bigest mistake of ur life please and i personly think u should listen to ur uncle...parents know what is good for their children aight take care and let me know what u decide to u in the near future byee |

just a little advise as a somali sister. I did go to college and graduated and they are alot of jobs out there for graduates. but since you said you hate school, going to the community college is I think not a good idea because it is school. but if you have changed your mind about school, that is the best thing you can do. go to college. if you ever feel you want to drop out I would advise you to join the military. everyone do not jump at me, I have a younger brother who joined the military after high school and he learnt alot from there. so all am saying is if you do not want to go to college join the military cause what you learn from there will help you get a better job. when you get out. |

Yes I beliefe You should go join the militry.
Myself I was a us Soldier In the ARMY for couple of years. They paid my school after I left, and get me a job now my net income is over 60 grand a year plus half of my student loans that I had before the army is paid for. and I use to get a GIB about 600 a month one I left until I get the degree. |
