You need to let bygone be bygone. Strip yourself of tribalism and the crooked views you got. Finally, compare the joke made by SMC and the one made by Asad. If you are an observant person which I doubt very much, you will notice that SMC's joke lackes substance. That is the reason I was criticizing Anonyx. And if you read the whole message directed to Anonyx, you will realize that I didn't mean 'aligned' literally but was rather said jokingly.

No brother, I am not aligned or affiliated with anyone in this chat-room. As you can see, my name is anonymous and everyone who comes to this board is anon to me too. As we all know, taste cannot be measured and something that's tasteless to you can can make others giggle.
The best way to get along with others is to respect each other. - In this case, I still do not understand why the above wonderful joke is so tasteless to some of you. I am not complaining or anything, but the first person I told about this joke laughed real hard.

I was surprised to see guys talking about "aligning" with someone even it in a humourous situation. You say to me that you doubt whether I am observant or not. If you were observant you would now that all feelings are relative. So what is funny to you might not be funny to Anonx. In this case if "someone says you are aligned with so and so because you laughed at his jokes" In this virtual world and considering the animosity among Somalis; the statement of alignment can be interpreted in anyway. So You don't jump to conclusion about triablism because someone does not see how you use a word such as alignment from your prepective Okay.

I would like to clarify some points before we drop this topic all together as suggested by the non-aligned woman. First of all, when I said to SMC..."Is this supposed to be a joke, I didn't laugh a bit.." I was simply voicing my personal view about the joke. I guess critiqueing other people's views is very healthy. It will help them improve upon what they already know. Secondly, when I said to AnonyX .."Are you aligned with SMC" I also added JUST KIDDING in case you haven't noticed. That itself should tell you I was just kidding; therefore, I don't see how on earth I could have wronged either AnonyX or the non-aligned woman.
Well, I think now it is about time to drop this topic all together. I won't be coming back to it again for comments. |
