Nasra it seems that you are carrying a lot of bias with you, may be you think you have made a wrong decision in life. you are more disadvantaged as you are not married to this man and you have kids outside wedlock. no direspect!.why don't you get married to this geezer and take care of the other things slowly.may be you are not a Muslim and so in that case I have to be tolerant with just you like any other person in this world who belongs to a differnt faith. make sure your kids know about their cultural heritage and if possible teach them your local language. as to the question of racism, you are damn right. the Somali society stinks due to the evils of racism where even marrying someone from a different clan is frowned upon, people are classified according to their tribes and I am sure you will still remember memories of the "Midgaan" which is absolutely non existant in the real world. you have to stand up to it, don't be weak in pissing off arrogant wankers, that is the only way you can do it. be strong sis. it doesn't have to be the same back home. follow your heart and find happiness |
