I am 19 old somali guy and live here in the U.S.A
I biggest concern is why are the somali people not interested in education? Please give all your thoughts and explain to me why is it so? I will tell little about me, I left somali right when the civil war began. I was in grade four, if you remeber I was go to wear the yellow which I was very happy about. When I came to America six years ago I began school and had many somali schoolmates. Which all of them after high school either got job or just play aroud with the sisters. Did edcation mean anything in our country? Or did people get jobs because their tribe? |

I guess u live in the states. Where I live people go to high school, college or universty and yes they also work. But there are drop outs everywhere, but thank god the majority of it have education. |
