what i want from a somali bother (and not just ne man) by LAYLA
i want him to appreciate my intelligence and knowledge as a woman of the world....4 him to 4get my tribe and background and see me as i am ...and still not be threatened by my independence...i want him to hang on to my every word like he's hearin them for the 1st time...i want him to be able to show me love regardless of who is there at the time, including his homies...i want him to picture me as the mother of his children...as he's equal...as he's friend...i want him to be able to be honest with me regardless of what he's done and confide in me when he has a problem...and i want to also be able to do the same...i want to have most of what brotha was talkin' about from my man without havin to ask 4 it...except the money-it doesnt really mean nething...

Wow this is intersting i've een surving around the net all day n this is the only intersting thing i came up with....
well broter u damn right all that ... n layla am with ya 100% am a somali sister too n i feel n share every somali sisters pain, n am sure brothers r willing to have same thing for return from the sisters.
there is something wrong with this somali young generation coz everyone is plaming evryone else , ,eg, like the sisters , " my god what is wrong with the somali brothers they all ugly cant they loser, they this they that..

Sup peoples
First of all brotha, trying to remember most of the things u mentioned is important and obviously acting them out is even better, especially when done in unexpected little surprises e.g. meal for two in a secluded romantic place. Also Layla I gotta agree wit ur comment on about how a brotha should treat his woman and etc, but sista a lot of brothas who try to exhaust their efforts on trying to act someone they are not often end up not going far, and am sure a lot of sistas could testify to that, even if they do they are on false impliations. So therefore I would advice that yes a brotha should pay attention to the minutest of details of what his woman is all about and what she needs from him, at the same time he should remain true to himself and so should she. That way they both will go further in life and hopefully be happy together. U sistas should never underestimate ur worth to us as u r OUR QUEENS, and vise versa u should never doubt our worth to u as we are UR KINGS, as their are many brothas out there doing their thing, GETTING SOMEWHERE WIT LIFE and nuf respect to them.

I have to say i am proud off u guys specialy Layla and mr Ordinary! I mean if the Somali guys bro and sis was like u or thinking atlist like ya we would live our happy where ever we are in the world, So i agree with u n i hope those who reading can say the same! All bro´s i say we are lucky to have one off the best womens around world n u should know that now when u all live around world n the sis´s i say we are not bad etheir so keep that in mine!
