minneapolis city of the lakes.come summer time we take the s.u.v's to da lakes and trip into the boats doing jetskiing.and in the winter we take da snowmobiles on the frozen lakes speeding at 200miles per hour.nigga quit before u get lost in da mall of america. |

I have to put it down for my city of ten thousand Lakes. Lake calhoun be the best...but you can have your fav too. I love MPLS, although I don't got to spend much time there, but hey it is the coolest ciyt. I went to Columbas Ohio, it's okay. ONe thing I didn't like about it is that it is way too flat, and too big. Not many things are going on, but OSU got it going on. I love that school. Anyways enough info. The whole point to this comment was.......that I love MPLS>>>FOR LIFE!!!!

I am not from neither of these places, but I think I have enough experience to say something about them. For me really none of them get it going, or should I say neither one is of the hook. Columbus I don't even want to started. First of all it is pretty old city with a lot of white alcoholic ppl "Trailer Trash". Man they even have drive beer/liqure bars, that how much alcoholic they are. But the Somali community I have to give it up for them. I think They are the best Som. community in north America. When it comes to party don't even think about it. Yo Studio 69 dammmmmn Shiiiiit, one of their best club intown, which 90%of the night playing LIL Booooow, what the kind of f in hell club plays consecutive songs on the same singer. My bad I forgot it was southern, if you know wat i mean. So I personally wouldn't suggest you to go columbus for partying.
MPLs, or Minnesota. Ghetto Fabulous, or should I say the city where HIP Hop died. YOu go to min.and listen of their radio station, you will hear a song that NY, and DC were playing a month ago. Chris Rock was talking about the Black folks and the Welfare and he said "White ppl accuses us that we collect welfare more than they do, but we only leave as 5 states which is IL, NY, MI, GE, AL. They even said that we live in MN, where the only bro I know lives in MN is Prince and Somali folks which don't consider themselves as a black."
That is enough for the entertainment part, let us come back to the life style. Most Minnesotian tries so hard to get a job that pays their brand new SUV that they just purchased because so and so have one. Education and going to school is not in their Dictionary. Watch! some of you may say I go to college, UNI, and so on, but did you ask yourself what the % of ppl like u in MN.
What do MN and OH have in common? $25 housing prog. What else? Great attitude, loving ppl, caring, very nice community. But what is the Disadvantage about this Open/friendly attitude? You meet them today the next day they are into your business, wanting to know Personal life.eg how much do you make? who are you seeing? and all of that.
Conclution, I luv both of these places so much, but I would not live neither one. I shall go and visit once a while when I miss to see my beautiful Somali Queen Sisters, and hang out with my boys which is most of the time.
Peace of advice, Don't you dare tell me I judged ppl, which I didn't know. This is just my opinion or should I say it is my point of view. |
