this is real life story and it happen in somalia ,some of you may have heard it before.
this was a big somali family who live in hamar,they consist of man,his wife,their children
and his moher in law(sodoh) and they also had a donkey(dameer)..one night while the family was enjoying and making some funny stories the mother in law (sodoh)laugh so much untill her entire mouth was wide open and the man says ......"sodohday cirikeedaan ku soo xaswuustaye Dameerki cawa mala sooxiray?""

One day I was riding along with my family like mother, brothers, sisters and aunt.The family chauffeur was driving us. We stopped by ceelgaab, you know to buy some stuff for that auntie who visited us from baadiyo. We were riding a land curuser. As you all know land curuser has 3 parts like front part, middle part and ofcourse back part. Front usually sits the father, mother or other respected elders. Middle sits grown-ups while at the back sits kids. This time we were sitting in the middle and auntie sat at the back. It wasn't like we told her to sit at the back, but she chose to sit it cuz she was afraid that she might got fallen off from the doors. Anyways, a guy passing by saw this poor old lady sitting at the back,this time she looked as if she was lost, you know she was sitting at edge of the back seat and pulled herself forward and she was looking around, back and forth. And the guy stopped and looked at her suspiciously and murmured by saying look at the poor SODOH [mother-in-law] and said to the chauffeur. Hey is she a SODOH ?? What do you mean, asked by the chauffer? Why is she sitting at the back?? she looks like that she's been thrown in there by remorselessly, said by the guy..
At that time the chauffer didn't reply back, cuz he was laughing...laughing and laughing so hard.. And the auntie laught and we laught too and auntie asked the chauffer why he was laughing?? He told her what the guy just asked him and there she took it as a complement cuz she knew that she wasn't SODOH...LOL
That day was the first day I found out the meaning of SODOH.. You know what I mean!!
