Somali girls KILL the hijab. They take it off for picture days, dances, clubs, parties, when they're with their boyfriend(first hand experience), and have no respect.

ALSO WHEN YOU DO WEAR IT, YOU WEAR IT LIKE A FUCKIN BANDANA. JUST GO AND BUY A BANDANA AND QUIT TRIPPIN.

"YOU'RE PROBABLY SAYING, WHERE THE JOKE???"

well, the joke will be, even after YOU read this, you'll still keep doing it.. LOL.. DUMB CHICKS.

out!

the respect of what? the hijab this piece of material...or the respect from within!!!
well, sister if u have seen that. I'll tell u something that happened to me. I do wear Hijab..not because my parents advised me to...but i wear it for the simple reason that i tend to respect my body that Allah has given me. If i do want to show off...i do have many ways to do so other than naking myself. Anyways, that was not my point. Couple of weeks ago i went to this somali wedding...u know when there r just females. I went there not wearing dirac(i normally dont) but just wearing simple decent outfit (i was covered from head to toe but in a fashionable way). Out of the blue...this woman attacked me...not me as a person but those who wear Hijab. I don't get the idea if we wear...we r attacked if not we r still attacked. what is the point???
Anyway, to be fair...i myself have seen some girls that wear hijab but during parties they dont. I believe if the party is all women...there is nothing wrong with...but mixed ones...that is another issue. Lastly but not least, sister behind the hijab is a major philosophy if u really understand there is NO WAY..to disrespect urself.
Get it Rampala

peace

to y'all
i wear the hijab because of Allah who created each and one of us. now days the gals take the piss of the hijab big time and i think this should stop. this is disrespecting the religion and our communities. if you know you can't handle wearing the hijab or follow what the hijab is all about then pleasedon't wear it. if you are going to wear the hijab you shouldnever remove it or disrespect it. the hijab has rules of wearing so you should follow the rules.

What I don't understand is that are people who wear the hijap any different then those who don't what I'm trying to say is that a person should have enough respect for themselves weather they wear the hijap or not, I mean it's part of our relegion right,so a girl who does not wear the scarf, who dates boys is as bad as ones that wear the hijab while dating boys. what I wanna know is shouldn't people be scared of allah instead of worrying what other people are thinking, also I know people that wear their hijap in the day and take it off at night do go clubbing, I too used to think why they are doing that but hey they can't go clubbing in their scarf now can they?

all I wanna say is that there are loads of wonderfull girls who embrace their religion and don't ubuse the hijab and they should not be forgotten if you see a couple of sistas that abuse the hijab it doesn't mean they all do.

peace ZARA

P.S. when your goung people do silly things and i'm sure these sistas will one day stop abusing the hijab

What FRUSTRATES ME MOST..Is ppl who are quick to judge OTHERS!!Those GIrlz who wear the Hijab all have GOOD intentions but are only HUMANS and slip into temptations..I'm sure they know what they are doing is wrong but they will (inshallah) Realize this and head back to the straight path ( god willing)
She (the Hijabi) feels that she's missing out on something when she realizes that going to Ruwayad and clubb'n is not worth her dignity and her Sh'arrf then they will wear the hijab the way its intended to be..IN THE MEANWHILE..INSULTS AND JUDGMENTAL COMMENTS DOES NOT HELP HER JOURNEY..but set back her course to strengthen her Iman.
Peace and much luv to all my somalian brothers& Sista..

HI ALL:

FIRST OF ALL DON'T JUDGE A WHOLE GROUP JUST BECAUSE YOU HAVE SEEN FEW BAD APPLES,SECONDLY THOSE GIRLS YOU HAVE ALSO MENTIONED WEAR THE HIJAAB TO SATISFY OTHERS MUM,DAD FAMILY AND THEIR SOMALI SOCIETY I CALL THEM========>PRETENDERS
AND ALSO ON THE OTHER HAND YOU HAVE THOSE SISTERS WHO WEAR IT OUT OF IIMAAN AND RESPECT THEY'VE FOR THEIR RELIGION AND THEMSELVES THEY WEAR IT BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE IN WEARING IT TO PROTECT THEMSELVES.

SO GUYS DON'T-------------->GENERALIZE

I usually wear a Hijaab....but recently I accompanied my mom to the grocery store. I was wearing a track-suit, trainers(Snickers-4 U americans) and a HAT...That covered 90% of my hair. One of my uncles saw my mom and crossed the road to say hello.....He started to Wacdi me about the Hijaab. He told me that my body was made 4 one man and I should keep it locked till the day I get married...and that there is no reason that I should display it for someone else. I felt so BAD....I couldn't say to him "Abti, I usually wear it but today I was exercising and couldn't be bothered to get changed". I never wore a hat ever since..even at the gym.....LOL....Turst me it is pretty uncomfotable wearing one and exercising..but that is a sacrifice one should make for one's own benefit...

And about the BANDANA thing....LOL...I am ashamed to admit that I used to do that last year but I am not into it anymore........Atleast I am honest about it..........

PEACE
