There is this girl that we have been e-mailing each other for almost a year, she told me she was beautiful I sent her pictures and asked her to send me her, but she did not, then I said I'll come and visit you, she said no no no why do they have to lie about their looks. look at this down-to-earth woman she is one of them,if you get approached every day how come you damn bored. oooooops

Hey BUG, sis i never meant to keep things personal at all. It was just my obseravation.
Girls claiming what they are not such as beauty but ignoring the intelectual side of things. They end up talking about how pretty they are just to get attention. Look at how many posts for QURUX and they speak for themselves.
There is nothing wrong with saying how a person really looks- that is my point. Raising expectations by false claims is disgusting - witness my what happened to the feedback from our brother.

If the women that come in here look "ugly" imagine the men! If you men had lives, looked good etc you also wouldn't be here. Therefore do not jugde and class everyone in the same categary.
My personal opinion you can not get ugly sisters, everyone is beautiful in their own right aren't they? For nothing Allah created can be said to be ugly.
Notice how many of the topics in this forums are of men seeking women? There are women seeking men but not as much.

Sulkha, i know full well that somali girls are the most beautiful in the whole world - am proud to be a somalian guy. But i encourage u to make friends not lovers on the net.
Reality- check, thank u for your wisdom sis. But, my whole comment is not categorizing all the girls who surf the net as ugly. No,no but what i meant was to be clear and it is a common sense thing that pretty girls got a selection of men anywhere but the ugly ones get desperate and post images that are not true.
I fully respect girls ugly or pretty cause u all are my sisters but i have a problem with girls lying about their looks. If u are ugly then u are ugly - simple as that.
There are eduacted people who surf and make friends on the net and i understand that but educated people don't bother with someone they dont knows looks. Ok

Sis i am sorry about your situation and this is the main thing i see can happen when people don`t keep it real. Like this 40 yr old guy, if he had told u the truth - u would have not been stuck by his infactuations. I can't criticize men cause they are human too. But to tell u the truth i just enjoy seing my somali sisters opinion and have never been caught up with cyber love.
1 other thing as an advice to u sister even if u are a busy person u will meet your ideal guy when it is the right time. love is not a play in sports game where on your own u can make it happen.

I am from a city where there is no decent Somali man whatsoever. So, what is wrong with young woman surfing the net, searching for a decent Somaliman? I believe nothing.
I am totally aganist Cyber-love/datting, and as a mater of fact i don't trust anyone i meet over the net. You or I could be dating Satin himself over the net, and that is a good reason for not encouraging cyber-love/dating. For that reason, I don't look for love over the net, I look more at how intellegent are those who surf the net, and although I have been adviced by a friend of mine to the surf the net after finding her love over the net. I still don't believe it is a good idea, but trying it won't hurt.

Hey people I don't want u guys thinking i am dissing all the girls surfing the net. All i did was make a judjement of my observation and just wanted to see if people agreed with me or not.
To Reality check,
Sis, offcourse there are both guys and girls surfing the net and that makes it obvious that there is a variety in looks, intelligence cause we are all different from one another.
I am a guy therefore do not care about how my brothers look but deffinetly care about girls telling the truth about how they look.
I would like to say this that the chance of ugly girls vs pretty girls is much higher.

I am not dissin all sisters but the ones who lie on the net -period. I love my sisters too much to diss them all.
I wanted to clarify the qn Reality wants me to answer and not stay elusive. Is it the one about why brothers surf and she categorizes them the same as the girls that i so called "ugly". To be honest i stated this before all kinds of people are on the net, and offcourse guys of all sorts are found here but i honestly cannot defend them nor Can I argue with that point.
The reason why i keep apologising is that i get responses from nice sisters like u guys - so far.
