its always good to be curious and its not stupid not to know but hesitate to ask iam not an old guy too who can give u all the details u need but i lived around somali people all my life and i now live in usa and upto know i don't even know where we originated from we are cushites but some say we are semitic too like the jews and the arabs so i guess some of our ancestors are either arabs or jews,there is no doubt there were black and white people even during the prophets time that is why they talk about bilal who was black and became amuslim who was aslave from ethiopia so from here we know ethiopia which ablack nation existed but we r not told anything about somalia
so i beleive its colored nation so lets not worry about the color otherwise u can become aspecialist
in our race and dig to find all information u need
u can do cultural studies specifically in somalis
and become aproffessor,anyway take it easy bro,who knows maybe we are black jews just kidding |

It is odd and atimes awkward not to know or appreciate your culture and history.
As a nation we pride ourselves with our colour and beauty.
It matters not, where we come from - which many say we are descent of African and ancient Egyptian intermarriage, others say we are from Yemen, yet others believe we are children of Indian/Arabs, but I believe we are unique race. Let it stay at that, mate. |
