sanaag is a beutifully misterious region. but more than any other city laaskhooray is quite simply A phanominal piece.
subxaanallah, the sea is deep dark blue, the bort is over crowded with people and ships.
And the people are unbelivably generous and noble even when things were extremly were bad and volatile.
but, mashallah along with the rest of the region and the rest of the country slowly but surely the city is building and stretching and booming with business's and life more than ever before.

Laasqoray has been a deserted city for the last 10 years .this is the fact. now there ar some brothers from minnessota who ar trying to get the port city back to its houner and pride but there ar still Ismaciil suldaan and co who do not want the city to be developed because of the colonel abdullahi yusuf and majeerteen's opposition to the development of laskoreh. so those fellow puntlanders of ismaaciil tell him to differentiate his frenship with the dictator a/yusuf and the development of his land ok

Suppose what you are saying is true; since when did the somali people sit around like cattle waiting to be herded? This statement is in reference to the situation of Laskory development.
Ismail Suldan is only one person, if the people of laskory region want to build that area I dont think Abdullahi Yusef and co would prevent the development of that region. Do you really think that is the obstacle? Or is it the laskory people , living in other countries now, who dont give a damn? |

I do not have to tell all you what has been happening past ten years in our Area. what we are lacking is a leadership. We have leaders Sultan pretending to represent us but only help themself.We have those who try to create problems between us so they can achieve an agenda for Ina Cigal and Cabdulahi Yusuf. we all know deep down our self that neither abdulahi yousif nor egal care about us.. both care about there qapeel...
i belive that as an individtual we r the best somali people.... where ever we go we appear...but the problem is that as a group we r too bad realy too bad ,and that is because of our "xassad culture"....may allah save us.I believe that we need to exchange opinions.so let us get started. and thanks for every one who will share me an opinion.my question is what can we do for our land and people?? |

Assalamu Calaykum
bro Saeed and others I would try to share with you some of the informations I heard from what is happening in our beloved city of Laasqoray. I heard about 12 brothers from Eastern Sanaag have had a meeting in Minneapolis which is the state of Minnessota . These brothers who are all the WADAADADA OF THE MANDAQADA have come up after a lengthy debate which was titled "how to restore the dignity and houner that has been known for this historical beauty port city" to collect some money which can be used for expenses(nooli) and sent one of them to Laasqoray ,boosaaso , hargeysa , neighbouring countries and some middle east and far east countries. I was told this person was selected to be Buraale Jiisow (a fellow bahogayslabe who has master degree in business adminstration and who is also wadaad).
This brother was sent to prepare feasibility study. After this brother completed his mission which was rated to be very successfull he came back to Minnesota to give the report back to the WADAADADII MANDAQADA of this area.After another discussion was conducted about the encouraging report that was submitted by Buraale the guys who sent him there decided to make building private fish factory the first step to get Laasqorey going again. They have sent the information about what they agreed to all the people of the mandaqada who live abroud(that is those in USA UEROPE AUSTRALIA NEW ZEALAND AND MIDDLE EAST) they told them to consider to be shareholders of this factory which is estimated to cost about $650.000
Alxamdulilah the Founders of this Program who ar those 12 wadaado in minnessota have immediately come up with 1/4 of the amount (about $150.00) from among them and asked the rest to be provided by the TOLWEYNE.
Alxamdulilah I was told the collection of the money has become succeessfull and the laasqorey fish factory is almost complete. I was also told that they already put in place another plan to build 2 more factories. they ar factory that would produce mattresses(furaashyo) and one that would manafucture small fishing boats.these factories are also under way as I was told.
I was told some people who say they ar from the mandaqada of eastern sanaag have tried to subbotage this development of laasqorey . some of their claims were caydiid is using the wadaadada to get his way to laasqorey . This is no wonder is some of the propaganda that Abdullahi Yusuf and his warsangeli traiters(calooshood ushaqaystayaal) use to discourage the development of laasqorey and to sow a hatred among our people . but this time alhamdulilah our people showed sense of dignity and maturity by telling those propagators to get lost. I was told the elders of the mandaqada said that these wadaado whom you ar always insulting are the only people who seem to be united and willing to do something for their land and people.
So my fellows from calmadow both girls and boys let us put our hands and resourses together and do some thing for our land. Let us tell those dividers who ar trying to devide us among wadaado and nonwadaado and among sub clans(jilibjilib)
etc to get lost.
I was told these brothers who found this represent almost all the major jilibs of the mandaqada(they include aadam saeed , reer cismaan ,bahogeyslabe, ogeyslabe, warlabe, nuuxcumar, reer garaad, garaad maxamuud dubeys ,reer faatax etc)
This is the information I have about those factoris my dear brothers and siters of calmadow and I would try to update you if I hear more ok. and meanwhile if any body has more infos about the developments in laasqorey please share with us.
