To Amal

Isn't it great to hear from you,it really is. I am also from Burco and left there when i was 12. I was also in Burco in the summer of this year.

When i was there, I heard someone talking about a lady from the outside-world cried as she landed and prostrated on the floor. Your emotions of arrival in Burco fits this descriptions.

Amal when are you planning to go back to fulfill your future prospects as a teacher in Burco.Where are you now and which part of Burco did you lived.

It is really lovely to hear from you all burco people.

I hope everyone a happy Eid!!!

Hello my kind of people

Burco waa tee ma ti boodhka weyneyd...only joking..we all know that was a seasonal thing...;-)...how about the casarkii when the sun is setting down ..ee islaamihii wadhatadu dib ugu caraabaan xaafadahoodii..ee cawaale suqaar iyo la rusheeshey daruuraha hortoodii...dhalinyaradii labisnayd u soo janbaqaadeen caweys fiidnimo...ku dhufo koob shaah ah dabadeed uga danbeysii suqaarkii macanaa. Alla maxaa dumar qurux badan laamigii dheeraa marayaa...xagay tolow ku socdaan...sawirlihii...what a memory. Burco girls are the most beautiful girls in Somalia. No doubt about that. I pay tribute to all reer burco for their dhiig kuleylkooda ...they don't tolerate bullshit...got rid of...kabtan faalso iyo huwantii iyo faqashtii....

I am reading Architecture and would love to design beautiful buildings for our city...hope there will be many civil engineers to help build them. Can you beleive it...there is a real reer burco fellow lecturing on nuclear physics at my university....(smell the electricity there!!!!)...haven't been there for 16 years but will definitely go back one day soon..The future is bright for us...keep the dream alive and study hard to acomplish it. Education and brain power are the two most vital ingredients to prosperity...always remember to educate yourselves. May Allah guide us to achieve it.

Love for you all.

Hello everyone

Thanks all for the comments. I think it's great we all agree that we should go back home with something and not just with empty hands. Keep up the good works my brothers and sisters inshallah we will achieve our goals.

hi Shooda-coosawe, Are you really serious you were in burco this summer? Please be honest and stop messing around. When i wrote the above comment i was very true with my feelings and emotionals and it's not fair you make a joke out of it.

Hi sis Hoodo, thank you very much for your comment. I am glad to her that we are both interested in teaching. Please keep it up sister and don't let anyone or anything get in the way of your dreams and i promise to do the same.

I hoping to start my teaching training in september 2001 and as i have already got my degree and hopefully teach in this country for a while to gain experience and then go back home.

Hi amina

How was burco?? specially my place of birth, Hodon qeylo?

I suppose it was reduced to rubbles by the faqash, then the nonsence haber-haber war.

Anyways life will definitelly go back to normal insha allah.

Hi Burco People:

I am from Hargeisa. I am Habr Awal/Siad Musa. I am also in University and when I'm done I hope to return to Somaliland and get our natural resources out of the ground. Sheik and Burco are the most beautiful cities in Somaliland. We first must work together and get ina Egal out of government (peacefully) and get a good governemnt for our people. When I return I promise to build schools and hospitals for my wonderful Burco people because insha-allah I will return with alot of
$$$$$$$$.

Did any of you hear of a amazing Hotel that was built in Burco. It has libraries, mosques, restaurants, theaters etc. It is also believed it is even better than the Hotels found in Hargeisa.

i had to let u know

Saturday, April 14, 2001 - 06:02 am
ssomaliland do you see any of us burco people mentioning that habar habar business!!?

the answer is no because we are all from the same beautiful city burco we don't care about qabiil anymore and reer burco can take care of themselves and their beautiful city without any help from hargiesa people

a typical reer galbeed mentality

you are in the wrong room this room is for burco people maybe you should visit the hargiesa room and spread your qabyaala •••• up there.
