jiiliye sarhaye	Saturday, January 20, 2001 - 12:16 pm i would like to reiterate some points for the record the western somalia is home to many different tribes. the majority though are ogaden. there are also jidwaaq geri gadabuursi isaaq karanle sheekhaal dir and ciise and other small hawiye tribes and little bit of harti. it was the collective effort of all these aformentioned people that kicked the ethiopians from the land.i have a suggestion for the ogadeni people , and it's to drop that name for the sake of uniting the whole people of western somalia. if ogaden is majority let the polls be witness after we liberate the land from the coptic tigrans . let each tribe proof its claim to a majority in the polls. for now lets unite and have a common name and strategy . we as somalis cann't afford to be nearsighted , because we have an enemy that willn't cease to conspire against us. god bless somalia .
