Some time in the last week-end, SomaliNet servers experienced unexpectedly technical problems. Due to such difficulties, our services ceased temporarily. During that period of time , we have been working around the clock to avoid further inconveniences or loss of data and worked to resume the normal services.

We have to acknowledge that an early warning would have been helpful. Unfortunately, it was a surprise to us as well as many others in the same environment. During that time, bout 60 domain servers were down.

We believe that SomaliNet users are privileged to be informed up to the minute. We are hoping that our visitors do understand the circumstances as we explained to them.

We are grateful to Allah for helping us to announce a full resumption. SomaliNet is also grateful of its users by showing their complete support of our continuation to serve Somali community. They were concerned and hence, kept sending us their best feed-backs while some of you even volunteered to help us back to normal. Thank you!!!
