Somali's are of the Kushitic desedents of the east African and North African.There are about 47 tribes who belong this group and they all live in either East or North Africa.Tribes like Oromo, danakil, Somali, Nubi etc.However these groups are beleived to be moved from Egypt about 4-5 thousand years ago.
As you also mentioned Somali are neither arabs nor Negros. |

Yes, to an extent Some Somalis are from Egypt. But there are those who came from Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka. The other day, I attended a Cultural Diversity seminar about Somalis, Vietnamese and Latin Americans. The similarities between Somalis and Vietnamese were 75%, so what does that tell you bro.? you answer this!!!!.
We, Somalis, have nothing in common with the Arabs, other than the Islamic Religion...No cultural connections, so we can't call our selves ARABS...
