Do you know About the New Union of the UK somali Students Union?.

There has been no official or unofficial Somali Students Union whatsoever. But Thanks to the Allah, after Allah thanks to those who cares for the Well being of the Somali cummunity ingeneral and in particular the somali students.

There have been nemerous meetings between members of the somali students studying different Universities and after along, tired and hot discussions theses students come up a remedy for the UK SOMALI STUDENTS AS A WHOLE. They created a Union named the above tile. and they have elacted a board management.

As I am aware of there will be a general meeting coming up 4th of febraury "next month" for the UK SOMALI STUDENTS AS A WHOLE. The meeting will take place at LONDON GUILDHALL UNIVERSITY. THe Nearst Tube station is Aldgate East. The University is next to the Tube station and the name of the compus is KALKATA HOUSe " as in calcata in India".

For more Information you can visit the website of the Union: www.somalistudents.com

You can join the Union on line through their website. In order to do so You shall click where it says "about us".

I am not sure that I am mailing to the write group, but about a month ago a newly formed Somali Students Organisation was introduced in the KASMO newspaper. what astonished me the most was the photo of the chairman sitting proudly in a "directors chair" with dark glasses, frown face, behind large thick black table, little somali flag, number of ornaments and etc. If he had spent all that during the initiation stage of the organisation what will attract us to join that group? or is it the typical "exclusive Leadership" where others have little or no contribution.!!
