ladies and gentleman as djiboutian citizen or gov't do we have the right or legitimity to be involved about the current desperation and chaos of our big
brother (somalia & somalis). Some will say let the big brother sinck like a boat in indian ocean, and some other will say no we have morale and
blood ties
with our people in somalia therefore we must be with them in better or worst.

As somalis citizens all over the world please give as your inputs.

I sincerely believe Djibouti won't be neutral about the Somali reconciliation.First of all Djibouti has welknown reputation of abusing and mistreating somali for a long time.Meanwhile Djibouti forces helped the SNM when they attacking the other non-Issag tribes in the North. It is well documented that,Djibouti crossed the border into somalia and killed hundreds of civilians. Not to mention Djibouti has territorial designs on somalia.Djibouti has showed their desire to take force. But all these has been frustrated by the Aborigine people of the area. Moreover,Djibouti it'self is in a civil war situation. It is a fact Djibouti's soverenity and very existence is in great Jeopardy. The current president of mr.Ismail Omar was the security for the former president. He was accused of being involved with the torture, mistreatment and even murder of many desidents.Accoording to some sources Djibouti is favouring some somali groups over others. I don't expect much from this meeting. I think he is trying to get international exposure to save his fiefdom from economic collapse. Some reports claim the country is on the very brink of collapse.

I sincerely believe Djibouti has a hidden agenda towards the so-called Somali reconciliation conference in their mini-state.The current president of Djibouti was a notorious figure during Guleid's autocratic regime. He was the chief of security.According to some sources,he was responsible of the disappearance of many people.Needless to mention,he was accused of the murder of so many people.Mr.Geelle also helped the notorious, brutal Idoor ragtag armed gangs destabalize Somalia.Meaning he indirectly tookpart in the ouster of the last national unity government in Somalia. Finally i am not expecting much from this conference.I also forgot to mention that he is balatantly siding with certain clans against others and tampering with the meeting.
