Hi Somalis in Finland

Don't you think Finland is the most boring and also racist country in the world, especielly towards blacks and Somalis. If that is true isn't it high time to move from it and some other place more intresting and tolerant?. After all the world is big and full of intresting and fair places.

I thought Somalis are proud people who doesn't accept bullsshit easily.

You are right about somalis proudness, but that doesn't meant they hate to struggle in order to acheive what they want.

We somalis usually don't give up that easily, this new culture is challange not only for us but for finns too. so why we should run away?

We have acheived much so far, but there are still way far to go yet......

Good points brother, but how long do we need to stay in this country before we get our rightfull position in this society?. 10 years have passed since we came here, we still have lot of loosers who stand around the railways station, but we have also lot of us who worked very hard to make a life for themselves by getting education for example. And now what they get, nothing more than cleaning the dirty toilets, •••• and vomit around. We have very qualified people who can still not find a job other cleaning. That is unfair, and I wonder if we have to accept that for the rest of our lives or try to do something about it.

Fighters out there Keep up the hardwork and one day........

You have a point there, that some gratuated students are still hard for them to find a proper work place. Are we exceptional on this matter or Is common phenomina down here.

As I said my privious mail, there are still same thing not finish yet, remeber brother early 1990s.
It was hard to walk around in the city without trouble,,, what about early 1993/94/95 we broke the ice and find our way to Education Instituations.

Guess what, story still didn't finish, we should penetrate the job market as we did it before in other institutions. I am very worry about this new trends which appears nowdays "shortcut", "easy money",etc.

Who we should blame? I think it upto us how we to handle and find better and more stable work places than cheap and easy "Icehocky" jobs.

Brothers

Believe me we will stay in this country even a hundred years, study hard and do all kinds of jobs but we will still be considered stupid refugees and we will not be given the respect we deserve. So to me the only option is to pack our stuff and move on to some other more intresting places in the world, where we can be ourselves as independent individuals, good or bad and live our live our lives with a peace of mind.

After all what do we have in this country, no good jobs, no peace, no respect, no nothing. Life is too damn short to be wasted in a country like Finland.

Those of you who are suffering because of racism. Hold on and don't give up the fight, and don't go down to low-life either. One day life will treat us better.

Head-up,

Bro, I agree wtih you about the current situation of the foreingner in finland generally, and somalis in particularlly. But there are other pameters which are effecting in one way or another, like finnish culture, diversity of foreingner's both culturelly and relioguosly with the finn, finnish civlizations and lastly but not least finnish goverment's policy toward the immagrations.

One of the signs of this frustation was last week's somalis demostration in front of finnish parlement. When we should get fully our rights and life in dignity? or should that ever acheive that? are we asking too much in too early? may be these questions are the one which must of us are looking for the answer.

How should we live with this people? What should we have to do in order to acheive what we want? What we want in the first place? should we have to take first step or host people should start first?.......THere are millions or even Billion questions need first to be answer. In mind time, bro and sister keep qruizing and be bride!!!

Folks

I am not talking about things like houses, jobs and so on. I had a dream last night and I saw my future in Finland as a Somali youngster whatever I am and whatever I am capable of doing, and guess what I saw years down the line. Gloom picture...

....despise, hate, disrespect, strange and angry looks, unfair treatment....For heaven's sake if you live in country for ten years, study, work hard, pay taxes, became citizen, you deserve some respect and good treatment. I don't see that forthcoming to us in Finland.

I can't stand anymore humiliation, I am paking my stuff and I will soon be out of this country, God bless you all who want to keep staying, I wish you all the best and good luck inyour stuggles. I will surely keep in touch and let you know where I end up. I am not expecting pradise somewhere else, but I will find a place where I can live in peace of mind, respect and personnal dignity. I am ready to start struggling all over again. Wish me luck.

Why don't you all go back to your own country and make it good place to live? My opinion is that you should rebuild your country, not leave it and just move to another country stupid enough to give you everything including food, apartment and money. Don't let your country down. You belong there, we belong here. Finnish people have made this country a great place to live and yes, it hasn't been so easy always. What have you done for this country? What can we expect but crimes and endless complaining about racist finnish bastards? Please, I'd like to be answered. And stay quiet if you don't have anything else to say than "fuckin racist!", "you are gonna die soon" etc.

Hello Mr David Otorox

Are you really telling me that Finland is great place to live? Ask all those million finns who left that cold hellish place to enjoy their lives in other countries around the world. Froget about these bunch of Somalis in Finland for a while, it is upto them what they do for themselves and thier country. But let me tell you this, Finland is hell for its own people and everybody that comes to it. Believe me I have been there, and I know it. It is not just for bunch of racists but the attitude of the whole country is shhitt. Look around and tell me how many people you see smiling? they might have money, things and all, but something is just wrong with that country. I am blaming the Finnish people or anything, I am sure there are many grate Finns out there, but I am just saying what I feel.

A word to Somalis and all the so called colour people in Finland is, pack up and leave that country before you loose your sanity. Go somewher else, your countries or wherever, where you get what you deserve including respect. The world is much bigger and much more intresting to live than Finland.

One last caveat fo David, relax mate, if your country stays the way it is today, I assure you one day soon you will not see any foreigner living in there. I hope you are happy by then.

I rest my case, and I will not come back here, so don't waste your time replying to me.

Hasta Manana

Steven Jobb

No other nation owes the Somalis

people live in their own houses.

But you are right. They do not want Somalis
(or me) and I think the Finns are entitled to that, because Finland is a country of Finns.

If you have studies in Finland, just
move back to Somalia. The UN say the Somaliland
is safe. Go there. Or move to some other
islamic black African country.

I aggree. Howabout moving to Somalia? The
negative part is nobody is paying your rent there. But the good part is that Somalia is your own
country.

No Finn I know regard the Somalis as
stupid. But many think they are not honest
as they have abandonded Somalia. They
also say that the Somalis are arrogant
and do not want to live in Finland the
Finnish way.

I aggree the idea that Finland is
for Finns. Somalia is for Somalians.
Uganda is for Ugandas. Simple and everybody
likes that.

I wish you luck. There is a place for you, I mean

is safe.

BTW. You are not alone. There are countries
where we are not wanted as we are not compatible with those countries. The applies to white
people, too.

I aggree that the Finns may give you angry
looks. They want to live in a Finnish Finland.
You know, white people, blue eyes, fair hair etc.
Finland is their country, so they are

I think the Finns are entitled to write
to this forum because it deals with Finland.

Well, I am a Finn. I regard the Somali
people as a burden to Finland. You harm
our country.

Let me suggest the Somali readers here
think why they are not liked.
