![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Tuesday, January 30, 2001 - 07:10 pm PHX What would you like to do? There are several of us here. I have seen many from our people in Phoenix lost in this desert. I see very slim chance of them adjusting. What we really need is a social community club where we can chat at hang around, surf the net and perhaps talk about community issues and eventually set example for others across U.S.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Thursday, February 08, 2001 - 10:07 am I am sorry but I have been away from Phoenix. I went to London and then to Africa for a family thing. I am really sorry for being not able to contact u in time. Hope u r still there. thnx I am really delighted to see the participation, and the positive questions u asked. First let me say to Ssis that phoenix, the Metro area, is just like any other city in the US.. We have the Mcdonalds and the big malls as well. Crimewise, It depends where u r at actually. If the contrast is between Phoenix and DC I assure u that the crime is lower here in Phoenix, but there r other cities which really have lower crime rates than Phoenix. Jobs, again it is a question of what sort of jobs u looking for? Try the net, they do have some sites for employments. U did not ask about the weather.. U know we have a beautiful eight months of gorgeous weather. Only the summer it gets really warm...100 plus degree.. Winter normal temp: 65 To Koshin: I live in the West Side of town not far west but closer to ChrisTown mall if u know where that is. To be frank i don't know what is going on in town these days. I have heard there will be a concert.. kind of Somali entertainment at the end of this month. I will try and get the date and the location posted ASAP. And from there i hope u will make friends who will be able to change ur mind... Lion Prince: That was a great suggestion. I mean there is a huge number of our people in Phoenix and in the state who are really in need of us. It is all up to us to do a better job. and on top of that Lion u don't get lost in the desert u die in the desert. I have some friends of mine who are trying to set up an office for the community and that will be a plus. At least we will be able to have "a hang-out", where we can exchange ideas and create a new formula for the masses.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Saturday, March 24, 2001 - 07:27 am Three weeks ago I came to Phoenix to see some friends I knew from Egypt and families of mine who has lived in the desert for a long time now. But my visit was short and I did not want to wast that much time on simple things. So I planned for the first week to go to the Grand Canyon, a rock up North in the State and I also wanted to take this chik to a dinner and movie, she and I had a thing together from those days in Egypt but since she came to America we never talked. So I wanted to c what she was up to also. Second week my plan was to be exclusive with this chick if she is available. So i came saturday Morning and the next sunday Morning i was on my way to the Canyon with two friends and several relatives. We spent on that Sunday and part of Monday at the Grand Canyon. We had a really good time. We drove back to Phoenix, arrived about nine in the evening. By now I was all excited. I needed a shower and a telephone. Had to call her. Shower was just five minutes. So I was all set to make the phone call when my younger cousin rushed into the room i was in and told me this bit of lovely info. his name is Abdi. He said "Listen, somegirl called earlier today and left this massege for u" he continued "I think her name was" before he told me her name I knew who she was, it was her. But where did she find out that i was in Phoenix. I was puzzled. Of course her message put me on ease. Now she called me and the only thing i had to do was just to call her back and tell her that I found her message.. and then play it safe from there. U wont believe what happend next. i never thought this part of conversation could ever take place between me and a chick, my ex-chick, mine. I never thought she could learn so much nasty things in just two years. Phoenix surely change poeple. It makes different breed of folks. What i heard on that tel. chat and what i met later on that evening went into my Record Books. So I picked up the phone and dailed her number. Like somebody expecting something, she said "hello". I hesitated to answer, kept quiete for two sec or so trying to recognize the voice before I say those silly remark i make sometimes to someone else. It was her, I knew that sexy voice, lovely sexy voice. "Nothing changed a bit from ur voice" I remarked.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Sunday, April 01, 2001 - 04:19 pm Imagine having dealt with thousand negative experiences a week...Guest, I think your friend has been hanging out a lot at the chatroom. I was in phx once, and it seemed quite alright. by the way have you been to Sedona, while you were there. my friends took me there and it was breath taking.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Friday, April 06, 2001 - 05:15 pm To:Visitor I can't really imagine. Horrible, i would say. I think I went to Sedona but being very patriotic and devote lover of African nature I would say nothing made me gasp for air. Everything including the Gran Canyon to me seemed less impressive then the gingantic mountain kilomenjaro or the majestic couple of Naso Hablood or the Shiek cliffs or the Goolis chains, or Mata Arbo in the south, the red rocks around Eel Waaq, the victoria falls those to me were breath taking, stunningly beautiful formation of rocks and mountains and falls, lakes. I did not really c anything special about the Canyons. But I am really glad that u have liked them. God's creation is always a wonder, and it is out there for us to ponder over. bye

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Monday, April 09, 2001 - 06:17 pm Yeah, I very much agree with you Guest, and I know there is no place in this planet that is comparable to Africa, when it comes to landscape and beauty of nature. But we were only speaking this part of the world. bye
