Fear Allah | Monday, February 05, 2001 - 01:16 pm All praise is for Allah. We praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and the wickedness of our own deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none other can misguide, and whomever Allah misguides, none other can guide. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without associate, and I bear witness that Muhammed(saaw) is His slave and last Messenger. Oh you who believe, fear Allah with the fear that He is most deserving of you and do not die unless you are in a state of Al-Islam. ______ Assalamu Alaikum. I just thought that some of you may be interested in these verses and hadiiths. It shows the importance of the remembrance of Allah(swt). May we all benefit from it, Insha Allah. __________________ 'Therefore remember Me, I will remember you and be grateful to Me, and reject not your faith.' *Qur'an, Al-Baqarah: 152 ______________________ 'And for men and women who engage much in Allah's remembrance, for them has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward.' *Qur'an, Al-Ahzaab: 35 ______________________ The Prophet(saaw) said: "The comparison of the one who remembers Allah and the one who does not remember Allah, is like that of the living and the dead." *Hadiith, Al-Bukhaaree 11/208 and Muslim 1/539 _____________________ The Prophet(saaw) said: Allah(swt) says: "Indeed I am as My servant presumes Me to be, and I am with him when he remembers Me, so if he remembers Me to himself I remember him to Myself, and if he remembers Me amongst a company I remember him amongst a company greater than it, and if he draws near to Me the span of a hand I draw near to him the span of an arm, and if he draws near to Me the span of an arm I draw near to him the span of two outstretched arms, and if he comes to Me walking I come to him running." *Hadiith, Al-Bukhaaree 5/175 and Muslim 4/2061 |

Jazakallahu khairan for the most beautiful remembrance, that of Allah. Subhanallah, when I first read the topic, the first thing that came into my head was "fadhkuruni adhkurkum, washkuruni wala takfuroon", which was the first thing you mentioned yourself. Once again, barakallahu feeki. Bro Nur, Masha-Allah, you seem to understand that ayah very well. I really like how you did that little "poem". Barakallahu feek bro. Nur | Tuesday, February 06, 2001 - 12:07 am Sister Stranger Speaking of Poems, there is an arabic poem that begins like this: Stranger is not the one who leaves for Al Sham or yemen Stranger is the one wrapped in kafan and laid in a grave. Islam began as strange relegion, and one day it will become strange, Good news for all strangers. IF you live with Allah in thikir all the time, you will feel as stranger with people. To remember Allah, is to KNOW ALLAH To know Allah is to LOVE ALLAH To Love Allah is to feel like a STRANGER with people ( at least the ones who do not remind you of Allah) |

Fear Allah | Tuesday, February 06, 2001 - 02:41 pm Assalamu Alaikum, Masha Allah, I'm very glad that some people replied to this posting. Alhamdulillah! Insha Allah, it will get to more people and the remembrance of Allah(swt) among Muslims will be remembered. Allah (swt) says: Verily, a reminder benefits the believer. And it is a believer's job to remind his/her fellow Muslim. Jazzakallahu Khairan, all of you, for replying. May we all get ajir from this posting, Insha Allah. Nur: Walahi akhi, you must be a very gifted brother whom Allah (swt) loves very much. I've read your other postings and I've acquired much knowledge from them, Masha Allah. Jazzakallahu Khairan. May Allah make you of those that are under His shade, Insha Allah. Stranger: I must say the same thing to you ukhti. I've also read the postings that you've had on here. I wish I knew more people like you ukhti. It's like as if I can see the nur coming from your face while I sit here and type. Subhanallah wa Masha Allah. Our beloved Prophet (saaw) said: "Verily, actions are but by intentions and every man shall have but that which he intended. Thus, he whose migration was for Allah (swt) and His Messenger, his migration was for Allah (swt) and His Messenger. And he whose migration was to gain some worldly benefit or to get some woman in marriage, his migration was for that which he migrated." Allah (swt) says that a believer is one that forbids the evil and commends the good. And that, my akhis wa ukhtis, is what makes us different and more loved by Allah than the Jews and the Christians. So, Insha Allah, may our intentions be pure in every act of Ibaadah that we do and may we never forget what our purpose and goal on Earth is. Anything bad that I have said is from myself and Shaytaan and anything good that I have said is from Allah (swt) and His Prophet (saaw). Wa Salaam, Keep Striving To Please Allah (swt) |

Nur | Tuesday, February 06, 2001 - 09:19 pm Dear Fear Allah You wrote " Walahi akhi, you must be a very gifted brother whom Allah (swt) loves very much. " Wallahi sister, you made tears to flow in my eyes as I read your comment. Imaam Shafici onece said " Uxibbu al saalixiin wa lastu minhumu Lacallee an anaala bihumu al shafaacatee Wa akrahu man kaanat tijaaratuhul macaasi, wa low kunnaa sawaa'an fil bidaacate" (I love the rightous people, which I am not one of them, in order to win their intercession. And I hate those who made their business the diobedience of Allah, although I trade in the same business.) I would be the happiest human on earth if I only knew that one sallaat was accepted from me, if only my dua to save my skin from hell was accepted. Can you imagine my sister a day so horrifying, a mother will abandon her infant? you will see people drunk, not with alcohol, but the punishment of allah is immense. In that day, you will not recognize the skies, they are no longer blue, they will be red, a day when most people will wish that they return back so they can do good deeds but it is too late. That is the day, I hope to be in the company of the rigteous, although, when I look in to my deeds, I find it not enough, and the trip too long, and the supplies running low, and enemies around me, my soul who always wants evil, and hates the haq,( O my soul, why do I see you hate Janna?) Sheitan who is after me and never gives up and Confused people who argue of nonsense. All these atre impediments from the path pf Allah. My sister, Laa Ilaaha Ilaa Allahu is not an easy contract to sign, it is a contract to sell your soul to Allah in exchange for Jannah. Selling your soul means that you have no desires of your own except of the desires of Allah, if you do your part of this deal, Allah will surely do his part, Allah is just. but sister, I am worried that I can not wish for Jannah when I am still holding my soul and not releasing it to serve Allah, who owns it and later I sold it to him. This is indeed a business that saves us from Jahannam. What made a mother and her child to jump to the fire in asxaabul ukhduud? What made the magicians of Fircown to say to him, Do what you wish," when he threatened to kill them? What made the best creature Allah created go to taif to be stoned by the sufahaa, and later say " O Allah if there is no anger from your part to me, I do not care (what is happening to me)" It is all the love of Allah, seeking his mercy and choosing aakhira instead of dunya. Allah's sees my inside, and I am desparate for his mercy. I beg you to make dua for me in your salaat, and the angels will pray for you to have the same. Poor soul |
Fear Allah | Wednesday, February 07, 2001 - 12:55 pm Assalamu Alaikum, Subhanallah akhi. You have reminded me of something that I seem to have forgotten. The Prophet(saaw) had a tendency to always pray the night prayers(witr). He would be up late at night and he wouldn't stop praying until it was almost Fajr time. His wife, Aisha(ra), used to wonder why the Prophet(saaw) used to pray so much. So, she asked him. She asked him why he prayed so much, until he had blisters on his feet, when Allah(swt) already guaranteed him a place in Jannah. His reply was one that just has to make you stop and just look at yourself. He told her that he knew he had a place in Jannah. But he asked her: Shouldn't I thank Allah(swt) for that blessing? Shouldn't I thank Him for the eyes I have, the legs, life, etc.. Subhanallah. That has to make you stop and think. Many Muslims these days, including myself, have a tendency to feel that they have accomplished so much by just praying the five fard prayers everyday. The Prophet, THE PROPHET!!, (saaw) was unsure of himself, was praying until his feet blistered. A question must then pop into one's mind. "What about me? Where do I stand when all I do is just pray FIVE times a day and then I have the nerve to think that I'm all that and that I'm better than everyone else?" Allah(swt) says that anyone that has even and atom of kibr in his heart will not enter Jannah. Wa cayaadu billah!! Akhi, I wish to learn much from you, so that I may, as well, be able to save my skin from the Day. Walahi akhi, the best we can do for each other right now is to spread the word of Allah(swt) and His beloved Messenger(saaw) and to teach each other the deen that we are so lucky to be living in, Islam, the way of life. Walahi akhi, you are in my prayers as are all Muslims and especially those who give me the gift of learning and understanding my deen. So, Insha Allah, I leave you with this: Fear Allah(swt) with the fear that He is most deserving of you and do not die unless you are in a state of Al-Islam. Anything bad that I have said is from myself and Shaytaan and anything good that I have said is from Allah(swt) and His Messenger(saaw). Wa Salaam, Poor soul (just like you |

Ahmed Jama | Wednesday, February 07, 2001 - 04:20 pm Salaama Aleikum Masha Allaah, let me drop line here, even though I can't reach what my follow Br/Sis wrote but I will try my best. This is well known Hadith When the Prophet entered Madina first time, he said gorgeous Hadith "Spread the word of Salaamu Aleikum, and pray at night when the people are sleeping, you will enter Jannah with peace" |
babilon | Thursday, February 08, 2001 - 05:36 am A/aleykum, Maansha_Allah nur and the crew you folks are doing a lot of good in here, keep up the good work and may Allah(SWA) reward you dearly. |
Fear Allah | Thursday, February 08, 2001 - 12:29 pm Assalamu Alaikum, Ahmed Jama, JB, O: Akhis, I'm glad that you guys understood the hadiith, Alhamdulillah. The first time I heard that hadiith, it took a lot of explanation for it to process in my mind. Masha Allah. Brother Ahmed, I feel like you have a lot to say about our beautiful Deen but you seem to be backing away. Please don't feel that way akhi. When it comes to our deen, there is no need for any shyness. You don't have to be certain age or know atleast a certain amount of cilm to say and teach others about their deen. Walahi akhi, I want to learn as much as I can because I need to know. We all need to know. No one is guaranteed a spot in Jannah. Muslim Sista: Ukhti, I'm so sorry for not replying to your question. Walahi, I totally forgot. Please forgive me. Ukhti, the words that I wrote up there aren't mine. I have no copyright on them. No one can ask me for my permission to copyt them. Those words are Allah's(swt) and His beloved Prophet's(saaw). They have the rights because they are the authors. Allah(swt) has the right that learn His words and carry out each command that is given in His book. The Prophet(saaw) has the right that you learn what he has said and implement it in every aspect of your everyday life. That's where the rights come in. I hope that answers your question. Once again, I'm very sorry for not replying earlier ukhti. Please forgive me. To anyone who comes online and has even the smallest atom of knowledge about his/her deen: Please share!!! We all want to learn and know as much as we can so that we may be able to help ourselves and others in achieving the Final Goal, Jannah. When it comes to deen, there is no such thing as shyness. And may we all benefit from this, Insha Allah. Jazzakallahu Khairan. Anything bad that I have said is from myself and Shaytaan and anything good that I have said is from Allah(swt) and His Prophet(saaw). Fee Amaanillah |
Nur | Friday, February 09, 2001 - 08:52 pm Fear Allah As you have suggested, I want to share more of what drives me in the path of Allah, so we can all experience true love and serve Allah according to the Sunnah of our prophet Muhammad SAWS. I have opened a new page, about the love of Allah, please check it out and contribute. |
