What do we do with the warmongering warlords? As a Somali, do I think the warlords should be included in the new administration? Yes I do. Why will I want world class criminals in our government? The warlords are rabbi dogs. Infact I don't even consider the warlords as criminals, let alone humans. They don't think, therefore, they ceased to be humans. "Man is the only animal that blushes, and needs to," wrote Mark Twain. They don't blush so, they ceased to be humans. They are shameless, aimless, and worthless as a warthog in Somalia. Criminal is human like. I couldn't find any animal that I could compare them with.
"Call them voltures!" shouted my roommate when I asked for his suggestion. No, voltures have a reason and a season. They do what they were created to do: clean the earth from carcass. The warlords failed to do what they were created for, therefore, they lost the human characteristics. Maybe they are rabbi dogs, and we can disinfect them later, so lets include the rabbi dogs for now. They lost their human quality when they rampaged the nation for nothing. As human, you do things for purpose, you don't do things because you are able to do. Then, you have the right to call me a mad man for considering non-humans in our government.
Well, first consider me as a drown man who has little or no choice. A drown man will attempt to catch a bubble for support. If the government can do without them? Put the warlords in a gag!, so that they don't bite again. The wanton warlords have unabashedly worked for the enemies of our nation. I have listen or read some of the comments made by the warlords since the formation of the Somali parliament in Arte. Hey, don't accuse me of name calling, ok? Let me quote them roughly. Asked what he will do after the election of the government, Hussein Aidid sheeply responded, "The factions are armed and will defend their sections."
This college dropout turned warlord thinks he will be the Charles Tailor of Somalia. Haahaa, Somalia is not Liberia, and you are not Charles. Remember you dad couldn't do it. Go back to California and do mail delivery. Abdullahi Yussuf asked if he will talk to the president answered "I will talk to him as Hawiye clan leader, but not as a president." You are right, exploiting the clan has been the main thesis of your satanic career. This man spent all his life angry and hungry for power. I consider him Somali as much as Meles Zinawi.
The BBC Somali service asked the drug dealer and anarchist Osman Ato, why he went to Yemen immediately after the election of the president. The gangster said, "our country and our people are in a bad situation, so that was why we went." His answer made me laugh out my lungs. What is he talking about now and he didn't do for ten years. The warlords claimed that they have irreconcilable difference that they couldn't form national government.
Now, what do they have in common? Where did that difference go? Who is their common enemy that made them unite? It is the Somali nation that they are paid to distroy, and we are their # one enemy. What about Mohamed Ibrahim Igaal? I hope he knows better than land, land. Others like Musa Sudi, have uttered some unintelligent comments as I expected from them. They are used and paid to exploit the wicked ones of the society. They receive praise from their neighboring masters. They lie to the weak minds, not to the sharp and thinking minds. When the Arte peace conference ended successfully, I called my second cousin in another state in USA, to share him with my joy. His response brought tears in my eyes. He told me that "our clan was not included in the parliament, so I care less about the success of the peace conference." No wonder the warlords had enough people they could exploit. I tried to reason with him, but in my heart he ceased to be human, and if he is, he is a burden to the human species, and worst of all, to the Somali people. I angrily told him that the country is in disarray, because there are people like him, who only listen the beat of clan's drum.
To me it was more than personal that he wasn't supporting peace after ten years of humiliation and bloodshed. As a Somali who grew outside the current Somali political borders, (my dream is Greater Somalia) I couldn't comprehend why in the world will someone trade Somalia for government post given to his or her clan. It is irrational, and inhumane. That kind of thought is a disease, the warlord disease, which is worse than any epidemic that affects any people. Worse than the Ebola and hive virus. What is at stake today, is the existence of the nation, Its freedom and our religion and people, not a government position or baseless misunderstanding. If this government fails, we might be facing extinction as ethnic Somalis in Africa. Of course the will of Allah always prevails, but things seem gloomy. I'm ashamed that young man is my cousin, and the warlords are Somalis. When the president of Somalia Abdulqasim salat Hassan was asked by one Somali Diaspora through the BBC online, why he wanted to be president, the president replied that he we was educated by the Somali state and he wanted to pay back. Yes, good to pay us back, but that answer means nothing to people who see leadership as opportunity and not responsibility. After the government ministers were named, some clans complained that the government posts were divided unfairly, so they won't support the government. You might as well not support, if there was a condition that your clan gets good "post" before you support. I'm not even thinking about whether they were divided fairly, because I didn't expect fairness where the clan is involved. Nor I'm saying that they were distributed rightly. Who cares who gets what? I need Somalia. If you need your clan, then you won't find it without Somalia.
Someone has to forgo something, for peace to work. If the interest of my clan and that of Somalia conflict, I won't hesitate to chose somlia. I chose to think, therefore I'm thinking thing. I won't support my cousin blindly. Woe to you warlords, woe to you warmongers, woe to you bloodsuckers, woe to you clan idealists. What scares me most is that, are we so gullible that non-humans can lie to us? Unless we stop supporting clan leaders blindly, we are facing extermination. The Arte peace delegates made history that will place the peacemakers high in the Somali history. Don't be tempted to go back to warmongering. I'm proud that Ismael Omar Guleih is Somali, and you peacemakers are Somalis.
The Somali name was synonymous with war and disagreements, but you changed that. Allah will take care of the rest. Today, the world seems to be ruled by official hypocrisy. Most of the world will support us either for their own interest, or get praise. Nothing else. We the Somali Diaspora need to go a mile farther by contributing mind and material. Let us go beyond the ugly clan argument. If everyone could have left the country, then there would be no Somalia. Those left in Somalia are my heroes. They withstood the warlords' carnage. Those left in the country are like someone in a burning house, so, lets try to save them from the inferno, and save our dignity and pride too. If your right is the right of your clan, then woe to you too. When I heard the warlords accuse the newly elected president of Somalia, Abdulqasim salat Hassan as a former member of Siad Bare's brutal regime, I laughed bitterly, Why? Because been called brutal by you warlords is like been called ugly by a Pig. What is the worst thing that Bare did? He killed, and ruled by the gun. But you warlords have done twenty-one days in what he did in twenty-one years! Let me try to reason with you morons.
First of all, Somalia today needs experienced leaders because for someone inexperienced, the task a head will be overwhelming, because of what you gangs did to the country. Secondly, the government is democratic, and there is check and balance of power. After three years, we can change the government if we need to. Lastly but not least, you care less even if a Prophet comes to rule. You are not in a position to criticize anyone, since you are shameless, and criminals that have no ethics. The fact that rabbi dogs like you can express their opinion in international media, is a set back for the world. Your place and punishment in this world: is to cut your left legs from the knees and, your right hands from the elbows and banish you to a prison guarded by ferocious dogs, that is located in island that is not inhabited. Perhaps that is too good for war criminals like you. |
