Puntland has a name that is not representative of that region, at least this is what the history books say(please look it up). PUNT that very ancient land is considered by most scholars and scientists to be present day Somaliland.

So why did the majeerten administration claim that name???

This is similar to the Europeans who have tried to take the credit for building the pyramids while everbody know the pyramids were built by a black african people.

Change the name now to majertenia or something else but stop using our name PUNT!!

Nabadgelyo!! (P.S educated responses please, i am not against majertenia administartion or government so no useless responses , thank you!!)

See you Mr. Real Saqraanlander.

The ancient Egyptians called punt the aromatic incence they imported from the horn of Africa. Hence the name " Puntland".

I think Somaliland has no fragarnt trees in its region. Puntland still exports frankincence and myrrh .

I hope there is no argument about that !
It is abvious ! ! !

Asalaamu Calaykum

If you want to know ideas and mentality of others, let them talk or right. Why are you arguing on something you and your fathers do'not know.

You have to follow what Allah says and what his messenger( SCW) said. What is the point what Egyptians or Romans said?

The Isaq guys get so jealous whenever they hear the fabulous name of Puntland. They got the name SOMALIland, while they don't want to be Somali. Punt means the land of frankincense and Myrrh, and non of it is in your QAADLAND. You are confused call yourselves Qaadland or Isaaqland
