The "Isaaq" only? If you mean that I agree whith you. But what about the others clans living in the North like ciise, gadabuursi, warsangali, dhulmahante...etc? have not these people the same right or what? |

I am Gadabuursi my friend and we did not achieved for 30 years what we have achieved with somaliland only 10 tears, we have made university in Boorame we have maintained peace and significant economic growth with our brothers ans sisters. Boorame is increasing and thanks to somaliland.

You looked the all concept with blind eyes and I would say to you the old phare which says "think before you speak", my friend let the history speak itself. If we go back up July 1960, we can discover the existence of somaliland. Today like my brother informed the people of somaliland haves univerties, strong army, well manage economy and most of all passport.
So wake up and do something the growing warlords in the streets of Mugdisho.

You are not Gadabousi, because Gadaboursi are real Somalis and they don't want to scecede from their brothers and sisters.Gadaboursi are courageous nationalists with a very high moral fabric. They are completely different than the whining Isaak cry babies.The Isaak are trying to create a fake nationality for Northern Somalia. Isaak is a diminshed tribe, which has been continuously on the decline for the last 30 years.Meaning they no much signifigance in North Somalia. They became paranoid and scared from all other Somalis. Get a life and stop being an Isaak dabadhilif. You must remember nobody has respect for people don't believe on anything. |

The logic is strange.
Somaliland is somali and so is djibouti. So is NFD and kilil 5. Syria and jordan r Arab and so are over 2o different countries.
We r the same religion and so are we with over 1.5 billion muslims.
There are Somalilander Communities that are against secession. The fact is no one forced to sign in the first place and no one is forcing them to stay. To be a Somalilander is an honor and a privilige those who want otherwise we more than willing to depart with.
Now perhaps the one thing that would appeal to us is some remorse of what happened and recognition of the good character and the special role that our people can play among somalis. Their ability to bring back something that the South is particularly lacking that is the noble characteristics(Islam)(Not the outward islam but the true one-- the spiritual kind that doesnot decrease come rain or shine and manifests as ixsaan in your character) this was the trademark of all somalis many many centuries ago. But is now virtual destroyed in the south for whatever reason. In Somaliland itself this is wounded and we are desperately trying to revive it inshallaah. Therefore, convince me that returning to the South is not a trap by evil forces to destroy and corrupt this very ancient, purpose filled and important community as they tried to do last time and have done with other Somali communities. But the fact is none can frustrate ALLAH's plan.

The only productive union with the our brethren is to realize that we both have to struggle to change and clean our selves of the corruption of our enemies--seen and unseen. To recognize that our ultimate goal is not to be hunter's dog for the devil chasing your brother neither is it to out smart each, to deceive each other to gain a position of advantage this is the lot of animals not humans, our potential is greater and our purpose more noble. Our porpuse is to demonsterate obedience and the good characteristics deserving Allah's presence with us permanently. To look for an external enemy is really scapegoating when the enemy is within you. The true enemy r those communities or individuals where ever they may be in the world that harbor and tolerate evil within them or among them.
Its sad that the tribe among somalis has lost its direction rather than purifying and protecting as it was intended for, its being discredited by being utilized as blind protector of every wretched soul that it was meant to rehabilitate and if not possible than to reject and purify themselves from. Those wretched souls r present with us here spewing poison from the shaitan in them and those seen and unseen. The purpose again is slow decay of the fabric our society. The eventual death of Godliness and thus of mankind. Something we in Somaliland will defeat inshallaah. To be honest the south needs lots of work to free itself from the chains. Those here writing comments on these pages cant even reason except with blind selfishness and glaring hypocrisy. Time and time again the devil gets the best out of Somalis of all kinds but mainly southerners and they show their degenerate souls and the devils they harbor.
In sum, we are not going to stick our hand in that snake pit again until we are sure that the snake has been beheaded all of its 7- heads. "Like they say once bitten twice shy". Its our duty to help you kill the snakes as its for you to help us in our purifying process. This is the only means of real salvation for both of us level headed brotherhood.
However, recognize my burden is heavier because of our last communion. My work being cut out for me how can I carry another's wait. We will both drown in such case and neither of us might reach the shore Allah forbid. Unless I see a fighting spirit in you and struggle towards right mindedness and clean heart.
Its incumbent on both us to take this course without delay. So that next time we somalis unite or even better all muslims unite we r not a burden to our brothers but an asset.
This I hope u will see as a message of good will and frank discussions from one brother to another or a brother to a sister. I am not your true enemy and neither is ethiopia but its really shaitan. So focus on the root causes if u want to get tangible and lasting results.

Among Somalis there is an attempt to deny the existence of this community and even outright genocide was attempted. Blind hatred and prejudice will only win you hell. You can not tie the hands of ALLAH. That is what ibleys tried because of his ignorance and blind arrogance (blind because he couldnot even see that ALLAH created both of them and he had no rights other than what ALLAH wills for him. And worse he failed to realize Allah knows best who should be obeyed) This is what started our fall and those who part with such qualities will be the only once who succeed. There is Janna because ALLAH is merciful, just, kind and loving. And hell is when we reject ALLAH and his mercy leaves us alone with shaitan who might seduce u today but his true ugliness u will recognize when you are united with him for good...he is hell itself!
