It Seems to me that Dhulbahte are the winners so far in Somali politics. Dhulbahante are sub clan of Daarood, who has rich history in somalian society. They are the once who consider themselves land owner of Somalia( as their name says). In every historic book that you look at it, Dhulbante is major player, therefore, that is why they are the most unique tribe in Somalia. In historically Dhulbante are refer as fighters, and strong traditional tribe, who know hospitality as well as respect. Since this tribe has that kind of history, there will be in possible for any government to ignore these people. And that is why Somalland, Puntland, and Somali government begging them to be part of their governments.

I am not the person who started but I think he want tell, people who are debating here that isaaq is not the only tribe in North Somali and the that whole world know it. you guys are right, what Omar geele and Djibouti somalian (ciise + gudabiirsey) did for Somalia is unforgettable and we will remember that time to come. The British remember us because we fought with them. His army against darwiish included many isaaqs however they never mention in the history books. It was time when British army was searching dhulbahante in every where, isaaq tribes were laughing and helped the British as they could + they moved in to our land. we also did some thing under siyaad bare regime. Now let us start from the begging and build new Somalia for all of us. |
