Openings for Consultants to Provide SupporT TO AUTHORITIES in Somalia
Dear Colleagues,


The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for Somalia is interested in engaging Somalis within the Diaspora to assist with the on-going efforts of the new Transitional National Government, as well as existing Somali authorities country wide.

To this end, UNDP Somalia is kindly requesting the support of UN Agencies and other International Organisations to identify and contact Somali colleagues who would be interested in contributing to the development of Somalia in this important moment of its history, by providing advice and technical expertise in the following areas;

Governance (Judiciary, Law Enforcement, Demobilization and Reintegration)
Inter-ministerial Co-ordination
Core Civil Service and a Civil Service Commission
Finance, Taxation and Budgeting
Strengthening Urban Planning and Administration
Support to Infrastructure Development (Urgent Infrastructure Rehabilitation)
Macro-economic Policies
Mapping and Data Management
Reintegration of Returning Refugees and Internally displaced People
Human Rights, Gender and Social Reintegration
