So most of the ppl that was in burco moved to yiroowe so, this means that yiroowe has the largest pupaltion. |

burco had my friends. we talking about the present. I used to lived burco and 20% who live there were no isaaq. All left, even madhibaan left. other hand all dhulbahante from south and north moved to laascaanood. No doubt laascaanood is second largest populated city in north after hargeysa and fourth in somalia, after boosaaso,moqdisho and hargeysa.

remember las caanood was a village, before you been chased off burco and ceerigaabo.
plus yiroow now has a much more pupulation then lascaanood.
in yiroowe there alot more bussiness and there is alots of trading happening. and if it wasn't for yiroowe you waould have starved to death.

because yirowe has got much more diverse tribes then las aanod, which just 200 confused dulka people, who want to be putland and somaliland at the same time.

Basicaly it is anlivble. Today laascaanood is very diverse city. all minority tribes are there, even 10000 raxanweyn was given refugee status, where the madhibaan and all minority tribes flied so called isaaqqland(somaliland) |

Good try but you still fell short of enlightening us the true history of Burao.
For your information, Burao was the second largest city in the Old Somali Republic. I have seen Kismaio and Galkacyo but they were not even close to Burco interms of size and population. Of course kismaio has a port but, believe it or not, it is not even bigger than Berbera.
As far as lasAnod is concerned, It is nothing more than a Tuulo like Caynabo. Lasanud, according to my estimate, is not even one of the Somalias top 30 cities and counties.
In Somaliland, Borama, gabiley, hargeisa, Berbera, Sheikh, Burao, Erigavo and hadaftimo are bigger than Las Anud.
Someone mentioned Buuhodle. That is the most absurd claim that I have ever hear. If you are in one corner of Buuhodle, you can engage a conversation with a person on the other end of the city. It is a small village with a population of 180 people.

I heard the city of Lascanod and it is the capital city of soul. I also know it is the first city that was bomb in early 1900 by british. Lascanod history can be found exford University Library in the African history section.BUT I never hear of hirroowe. what is that, is that city name????? Yirowe is the place that feeds the starving ppl in las caanood, Odweyn and boosaso.
why is it that when ever you help the dulka ppl they never appreciate??

Every somalilander has heard of yiroowe some how or anther.
Ever since the meaningless war in buroa. yiroowe has became the financial centre of the eastern regions.
This is where the ppl from all corners of somaliland could come togethere and deal bussiness.
yiroowe links berbera, erigavo, las aanod and bosaaso, galkacyo, qabritahrer and ethiopia.
These allowed yiroowe to grow and attracted many ppl who were business orientated.
you may or may not disagree but i know for a fact that yiroowe is truely big now.
yiroowe doesn't have long history like las aanod or buroa, but it's doing damn good. |

Haber yonis were fighting the gov'ment but we tought them a valuable lesson.
We blocked them and surounded them totally, well the result was that they become starved and begged for piece with us.
