I am really getting tired of Cigal and his Constant Lies. I think it's about time we should have new Leader in Somaliland. I would kindly appreciate your inputs and I hope you put your views forward with out insulting each other.
P.S. DO n't we have anyone better then Cigal or is he buying people for his advantage. |

in my opnion it's time we allow someone else to lead somaliland.
coz we are tired of this tribal problems that dogged somaliland these recent years.
so i think it's time we elect a political party that comprises of all the tribes that live in somaliland
the president should be a WAXGARAD.
Anyways the regions that are mostly effacted by this problems are the ones that cigaal doesn't care about.
look at yiroowe the financial centre of the EAST of somaliland still using the former somalia money.
cigal made no attempt what so ever to come, and visit regions like sanaag, toghdeer and sool who the mojority of somaliland ppl live.
in my opnion somaliland should change it's direction and hence it's leader. |

I sometimes wonder when we will grow out of war. we have been unsettle and with no offical independancy for nearly 11 years now.
instead of building our ppl and leading our country, we the ppl who leave in the west or abroad and constantly wanting the war to break out again and again.
well my message to the ppl abroad, the war will not effect u, thats why war seems easy and cool to u ppl.
The average ppl in somaliland are worst hit by the consequence of war. while u ppl are enjoying life.
War brings nothing but distruction. The classical example look at bruco, the faqash already destroyed about 70% before the bros and neighbours fought over a dead city consist of ashs.
without any violence we can piecefully get on coz as humans we are only a visitors on earth. so lets live piece and harmony.
in my opnion with respect to this topic, i think it's time cigaal retires coz
1. He is too old and past his prime
2. He hasn't done much for somaliland ppl
3. He only rules hargiesa
4. never visited other regions in somaliland except awdal and waqooyi.
5.some parts of somaliland are without Gov'ment reps.
6. the economy not doing so good.
Look at this factors i will much prefered and a much more competent leader.
but the signs are good now, insha allah it will work out for us.

I agree war create distructions ,but in the of case Siyad Barre the only way we can remove him was through war ,and as far as I am concern Egal is doing the some thing no difference at all. If he cares enough about our people then he should leave ASAP otherwise we have remove him by force. |

My friend, i can assure u that war will not resolve anything, but brings chaos and dispear.
we can remove this old fart piecefully, and he is going to tumble without any effort been made.
The war only effects the east part of somaliland, while Egal and his reps are laughing with joy.
Egal offered his resignation last time, but the cabinet consisting of reps from all tribe insisted on that he should stay on and reinstated him as a president. The reason was that not to make bad impression on somaliland gov'ment.
but believe me ppl Egal will go now. and no need to waste any energy.

The way Somalilanders think about themselves is what is keeping them hostage and apart. If Somalilanders resepct eachothers tribe instead of insulting eachother they can accumplished a lot for their people. What I don,t understand is why each tribe in Somaliland oppsess with number ? each tribe claim they are powerfull ,and have more people in number than the other.If you all are crazy with number then we should have democratic election ,and who ever win should be president. If one tribe is bigger or better then it,s good for all Somalilanders. Let,s all think possitive other than negetive thoughts. |

The leader to succeed will be chosen by the ppl who live in somaliland, anything that the ppl here who are mostly living in abroad will have tribal favouritism. The final presidential decision will be made in somaliland.
We have no say since we are living abroad, but we can try and convince our ppl back home that tribalism brings no benefit and infacts hinders our propress to statehood states.
The criteria for a good president is simply tough, well eductated man who is multi-lingual and upto the job. |
