During my visit in Somalia, particularly Puntiland and Sakhraanland, I couldn't help notice that Bosaso is the only city that no one will ever ask you where you came from or your clan.

Even relatively bigger cities, such as Hargeisa you cannot stay in one single day without you being asked your tribe or why you're there. I spent 5 weeks in Bosasao and I was not even once asked why I was there and no one seemed to care or interested my visit. The people of Bosaso have very busy lives and generally are more sophisticated than the rest of the countrys'. It is not a big city but in my view it is a cosmopolitan city in the making. It reminds me of the old Mogadishu.
