a new Market expected to boost the economy of the new administration of the Mogadishu was opened Mondey is Huriwaa District of the Capital,

the construction of Dayax Animal Market took 35 days and cost 500 million Somali shilings (about 35.000 Dollars) according to the Mayor of Mogadishu Ali Muse Husein.

Husein said this is the first and largest project to be implemented by the administration of Somalia with out getting any hard from the Government.

the project has been implimented under the self service method in which the HAWIYE used to build the schools for their children during the late regime the Mayor said.

speaker of the Somali parliament Abdala Dherow Isaq who attended the opening ceremony said it is the first money making venue for the local Government here
I am sure this is a very encouraging and gigantic step forward He said
