Calofi;

Well said, but what about in the future? . Like I mentioned many times, the average Darood person wants to make sure that history does not repeat itself. Apologizing and returning the wealth, even thought I'm not sure if there is any wealth left in Mogadishu, are steps to the right direction, but what about tomorrow? .

Calofi, even if the new "Gov." gets off the ground, it's possible that we see in the future another military coup, most likely by young dissatisfied generals from Hawiye Clan who would pick up the massacre from where Gen. Aidid left off. In my humble opinion, if we give a second opportunity they will definitely do it right this time around.

The solution is simple, balanced federal system is the only way that we can insure the security of people (All Somalis).

Each region should have its own national guard which receives command from the federal government, and God forbid, but if some thing happens and some crazy generals stage a military coup, then the national guard will go under the regional authority. This way there will never be one single powerful person or group who could destroy the country single handedly.

This could be a long shot, but I even believe that we should have a rotating capital city, every five years or so.

My friend, (example)let us say that we have some important issue to solve, and we must sit down in some place. In your view your house is a perfect place for us to meet and you insist that we should meet there. On the other hand, for me it is not, and I refused to go into your house again, because I remember what happened to me the last time I was there, and were so naive to build nice houses in Mogadishu like it was our country or at least part of it..

Likewise, until Hawiye communities recognize our legitimate fear of going back to Mogadishu, and agree to meet us halfway between our houses and their houses, I'm afraid that there will be no peace in our country ever.
