I was on the Bus one day, and this somaliguy with rasta hair came on, an old Jamaican man looked the somaliguy's hair and said to him do you know this is a relegion?
the somaliguy didn't know what to say he just looked down embarrased.

Let me ask you this, was your grand father a companion of the Prophet ? Do muslims all over the World follow the examples of their grand fathers or the example of the Prophet ??

As far as I know and as far as the identity and social issues unit I have taken in university is concerned, Rasta Fara is the a religion pracised in the the west Indies espcially in Jamica. It has developed from diffrent religions combined together. It includes old African religious believes as well as Christian or biblical assects. It contains many beleives and cermonies, including leaving the hair grow as a simbol of naturism. Also smoking of Marawana for its healing effects is another believe practised.
You requested facts you got some facts so there. Whether you like it or lump it it is a religion with its rules and believe system.
However as far as advicing you goes I am sure you are an adult who can make a judgment of what is right and wrong and what makes you happy as a being.
