Toronto Girl, Hold up since when did fashion show become part of Somali tradition. Is this the new western tradition that we have adapted ? If I recall correctly, Somali Girls Never used to parade themselves in front of Men and show their bodies off. They used to be modest, shy, and most of all they use to respect themselves. But now we have young westernised students who have forgotten their culture, and traditions. So dont call this a somali culture night. Instead call it the Death of Somali Culture.

Anonymous I've lived in ottawa and frequently visit. It isn't as much of the hype these people claim. If it was do you think they would have enough time to be posting nonsense in the forums shouldn't they be out doing something since Ottawa is so fun and has lots' of things to do lol. I rest my case
And as for Abdul I doubt your religious yourself so why are you quick to judge somali women huh it's their progative if they wan't to go out and do a fashion show. By the way it's a Somali one.
