     | Unrecorded Date Does it bug you when guy friends seem to be looking over your shoulder when your talking to a guy they are not aquainted with???..i mean hell i can take care of myself you know!!... i have several guy friends and that's all they are..and i admit i am significantly younger than most of the,..me being in my teens and them in their twenties...but ..but when i'm talking to another guy they seem a little too interested.............they seem to be glowering over my shoulder...there is this one african american guy that happens to be checking out my sister..and she don't mind it..cause he's pretty cute, and it's not like she wants to hook up with him..she just wants a little good old flirting....and this guy friend gives him this dirty look...i mean it's flattering that he want to look out for us, since we're like his sisters..but hey sometimes we want to fish you know..just like he's fishing!1 so my sisters..how would u deal with this..and does it bug u???/..cause you know it gets me mad, especially when i'm not even flirting with the other guy and my guy friend makes it seem like as if the guy wants to make me give it up!!..for crying out loud..when are we as girls past the stage in our life when guy friends feel like they are freaking white knights in armor???

First of all, It aint good to use profane language here coz we're somalis we know we don't like it and it ain't part of our culture, we know we don't use it in our daily life, we know we can't use in our own language coz each one of us proves if "F" "B" "N" is used in somali, it'll sound evil so why use in our language. Secondly, the confused sista, you're really confused but I'll do everything it takes me to help you only you're seeking help from us together not only sisters but also brothers. You see the dude you're refering us "guy friend" seems to be your so-called boyfried which you're trying to hide out and that part telling me something. It tells me that you're a young somali sister who is treablly confused by jumping out of her limits. I mean by making relationship with other men whom she has problem understanding their rituals. It can be a culture barrier you're encourting which is obvious in this case. Wake up and be aware that you're a growing up child (no offend pls) that's surrounded by hungry lions and danger species. Being a Muslim and growing up in the west is a whole different issue so you may wanna watch out and iga gaarsii abaayadaa that it's haraam to hang out with men espcialy when in the west. Don't u wanna be Muslimah, Muminah, Muxajah, Qaanitah, Caabidah, Saalixah, and finally Taa'bah. Consider these and forgive if this actually bothers you. And let me comment on the sister CARAWEELO'S advice, "A little flirting is alright- but its the stuff that it leads to that is the problem." Making a sinfull mistake will make you worry fist time but it'll be an OK act for you if you keep doing it.
